@@NuYawk Hey Jeff! So we just returned from Atlantic City. Great time! We tried Casa Tacos, and Cuba Libre! Man oh man! We stayed at the South Tower 16th floor ocean side corner view. But be careful with that middle elevator! Lol
@@jeffwisenightvisionproduct1991 I hope the Casa Taco and Cuba Libre videos help with your decisions! Thanks for watching Jeff! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Other than price, there is not much difference between the lunch buffet ($29) and the dinner buffet ($38) at the Borgata. I would do breakfast or lunch at the buffet and a nice sit down dinner at one of the many fine restaurants the Borgata offers. Don't forget to check out the new 'Thanks Button' under the video by the 'Thumbs Up' button. Help support the Nu Yawk Channel!
Wow you were able to walk right in. Every time I’ve been to the buffet either for lunch or dinner there as always been a long line, and since I’m only Pearl status I have to wait for the higher tiered players to go in. The food is mostly pretty good and you can pay with points here. Service can be either good or bad depending on who you get. Sometimes you will get a server that checks on you to clear your plates and refill your drinks. Sometimes you will only be served when you sit down. Prices are pretty reasonable compared to the other restaurants in Borgata.
That was just a picture of Clarice to show you what she looks like. To actually find her, you have to look hard for a quick flash of that image somewhere in the background. Thanks for watching and subscribing Wilfredo! You'll love the buffet!
I don't think you complain at all. You're just giving your honest perspective and I appreciate the honesty. Your video makes me want to try the Borgata buffet. I would definitely go to town on that paella as well as many other foods there. I can't help but wonder why it looks so dark there though. I like to actually see my food when I'm eating it. The Hard Rock buffet has so many bright lights. Did the Borgata forget to pay their electric bill?
My camara doest help in dark situations. I've been in lots of dark restaurants, the Borgata buffet was really not that dark. Most likely my camera. Thanks Debra!
OH MAN THAT FOOD LOOKS REALLY GOOD. I LOVE YOUR HONESTY ABOUT ALL YOUR FOOD. I KNOW YOU ARE FULL NOW LOL 😆. I DON'T THINK YOU COMPLAIN ALOT LOL. THANKS FOR SHARING MY FAVORITE THING THE FOOD 🤣🤣. KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE JOB. DEFINITELY 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Jeff! The Borgata Dinner Buffet price is reminiscent of the Bellagio Buffet in Las Vegas, circa 2006. My partner-in-crime and I used to plop down at around 3:30pm local time, so as to s-e-g-u-e from Lunch-to-Dinner -- not sure that is legal anymore, if ever it even was hahaha - but you'd get Lunch & Dinner for the Price of One! We Humans are so sneaky, aren't we (tee-hee-hee).
Spoke to a good friend today. He went to that outdoor seafood buffet at the showboat. To my surprise he said everything was great(and he is usually very critical). I agree with you that the price point is too high but just wanted to pass along the info.
I had the breakfast buffet there a week ago not bad ive had the generals chicken on the lunch buffet years ago and yes mush the steak ive had yes perfect they have cheeseburgers every once in a while also very good.
Wheres the Duck sauce n Hot Mustard??? It maybe be bad for you but when it's good quality Chinese is out of this world. Budakahn used to be at the pier/playground whatever it's called now and it was fantastic.
Hi Jeff , l just looked on the Borgata web page and it states the buffet is closed Monday and Tuesday. So l called them direct and they told me the same thing. I see on your video the sign says closed Wednesday and Thursday? I’m going in another week and wanted to try their buffet, looks really good
I had to go back and check out the video and you are correct the sign says Wednesday & Thursday. The video was recorded and uploaded several weeks ago (early June) so I would definitely go by what the hotel is saying. I also did a Borgata lunch buffet video this past Winter ua-cam.com/video/oiC-Adeb7RQ/v-deo.html and the sign say's Wednesday and Thursday in that one as well! Thanks for pointing that out and for watching and subscribing mercdan! Have a great time. The Borgata is beautiful!
Interesting video as always!Don't care for buffets the mix of food and lower quality usually. how much can one person eat? Some of the food did look good and fresh though maybe one of the better buffetts? Dessert was always the best part.
It was alright. They had a bowl of horseradish next to it at the station. It would have given the cocktail sauce that extra kick it needed. Thanks for watching Mike!
Unfortunately, due to Caesar's Entertainment (supposedly) permanently closing down their buffets, and Landry's for ungiven reasons has not yet reopened up their buffet at their Golden Nugget property (though other Landry's restaurants in Golden Nugget and elsewhere in AC are open for business; for example, the Rainforest Cafe), this is only one of two casino buffets left in Atlantic City. Sadly, in my opinion, Borgata Buffet is actually the better of the two remaining buffets in Atlantic City, having more variety and food options than Hard Rock's Fresh Harvest Buffet (especially for my wife, who likes having more than a singular fish option, whereas Borgata Buffet most of the time carries more than one fish option; I don't like fish myself and go for the prime rib), but Hard Rock is also the cheaper of the two ($29.99 current price). Hard Rock I believe also has better desserts than Borgata, so that's one possible positive over its competitor. Out of the ones that are either temporarily or permanently gone, I miss Harrah's Waterfront Buffet the most (food options were numerous and excellent, plus custom food stations for steak, pasta and Asian soups) though it was also the most expensive, and I miss Golden Nugget's "The Buffet" for being the cheapest but also had some good basic options other buffets didn't have (like GN's assorted cheeses, for example, and as part of that they might of had the best style salad bar with the varieties, and their non-chicken noodle soup option always varied and were yummy).
Harrah's buffet was really good. But my favorite of all time was the Showboat's. It was huge with tons of options and most of them very good. Thanks for the comment and for watching djargus!
@@NuYawk I unfortunately never experienced the Showboat buffet. The only time I stayed in the Showboat when it was a casino in the late 2000s, I probably wasn't even aware the buffet existed! From what I have seen in the video I saw regarding the inside of Showboat Buffet, it kinda looks a little smaller than Harrah's former buffet, but it could be my eyes tricking me; but I wish I could of seen it myself from the inside when it was active to make a better determination!

Completely agree with that line of thinking. I enjoy relaxing with great service at dinner. Never was a big buffet guy. But breakfast and lunch work.
Thanks Jeff. Now every time I go to a buffet with bowls like that, I’m gonna think “urinal bowls.” 😆😆
