Good day. I'm from the Caribbean and recently came across your UA-cam channel while researching Atlantic City. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. These are well put together and helps in providing tourist with lots of options & ways of planning trips. Thank you.
Super presentation. I need to wait a little while before I can go to AC because of Covid. With your presentation of the Tropicana, it is on my bucket list to visit. Thanks.
Thanks for watching Ride Share Biz! You wait until the time is right for you, Atlantic City is going nowhere and will be waiting! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video, I don't visit much because I never win and they never give me comp rooms even after Caesar took over. Will be going to end of August to celebrate my birthday.
I do much better with MGM comps (still get the occasional free room, meal, freeplay at the Borgata). But it seems lately comps in AC are much harder to get than Las Vegas. I'm hearing this from a lot of my friends as well.
Thanks for watching ANDI! My plans today were a little sidetracked and I didn't make it. I plan on returning this Friday however and if I do, I'll give you a shout out on the video!
Tropicana has been one of my favorite casinos! Before the pandemic I was there many times but lately I’ve been going to Cesars more but it’s a short walk between the two! But I do enjoy AC!
@@Tdubz51in Atlantic City , Cesar’s took over Tropicana. And it’s still really my favorite. Now Cesar’s and ballys are connected by a short walk over a indoor bridge thing . But otherwise trop is close by but nothing really connected to it.
I'm guessing you have friends and/or family in NYC? I know you used to live in this area. Keep me posted on your plans and thanks for watching WiseMalik!
@@NuYawk most of my family and friends still live in New York.... i'll be there the week of the 15th in Sept. looking forward to visiting the bronx zoo and central park and so many other places... felt like i'd enjoy my home town more than Vegas.... we'll see..
I enjoyed your video. Sadly, I can't bring myself to go into the building. YEARS and YEARS ago the Tropicana had problems with bedbugs in their hotel. Although I'm sure that everything is fine now, I just get the "creeps" at the thought of being in there.
Eeeww! Perhaps the bugs stopped paying the resort fee ... no hotel will put up with that! Seriously, I enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and bug free! Thanks for watching and subscribing Marathon Runner!
I always love the Green Bar (Hard Rock has one too). My go-to drink is "The Pick Me Up", very refreshing! I have yet to try those gourmet nuts. one day.
@@CoffeeMugTwentyFive True Chantit. I was there about a month ago, really not much to see or choose from, some might even say 7-11ish, but the place has been there forever and worth stepping into just to say you were there!
Jeff thanks for the video I always stay at the trop the restaurant's are great Cuba Libre is great, If you haven't tried the AC cruises I recommend it they have different types of trips
Funny you should mention the cruises Omar! I was going to go on the happy hour cruise today but it didn't depart until 6pm and I couldn't wait. I'm returning Friday and perhaps I'll try again ... it's definitely on my to do list! Cuba Libre rocks! Perhaps another food video soon! Thanks for watching!
I will be in AC the last week of August and first few days of September and planning on dropping by the Tropicana. I want to try Cuba Libre and P.F. Chang's. I remember in the 90s Tropicana had an indoor amusement park called the Tivoli Pier. I loved their bumper cars, ferris wheel and my absolute favorite ride was the one you sit in and it shows computer made images of Atlantic City and plays a song called "On the boardwalk in Atlantic City." I don't remember the name of the ride.
If you stop by the Trop Debra, check out the Bungalow Beach Bar www.bungalowbeachac.com/ Even if you don't drink, it's a great place on the beach. It even has a pool! As always, thanks for watching!
@@DebraCamacho I do enjoy a good glass of wine or cocktail. When I'm in AC however I am usually driving and do not drink (Vegas is another story). I still enjoy the beach bars however. I'll order myself a nice juice and seltzer or Virgin Mary. Many times when I order a diet soda, the bartender won't charge (they get a nice tip however)! Regardless, have fun!
@@NuYawk Sounds good! I also enjoy a nice glass of wine once in a while especially when I eat at an Italian restaurant. Other than that I enjoy mostly the tropical type of drinks like a pina colada, margarita or a strawberry daiquiri. And sometimes my drink of choice will just be a cranberry vodka.
Caesars is really re-thinking their buffet strategy and they may not be opening some of them in AC as well as Las Vegas. While other hotels and casinos have re-opened their buffets, I think Caesars is planning a different strategy (I have no idea what it is). All I know is Caesars feels buffets are very inefficient and labor intensive. Regardless, something will eventually fill all those closed spaces! Thanks for watching New Jersey Scratch King!
I believe it's the only one in Atlantic City. I know there is one in the MGM Grand Las Vegas as well. I'm sure there are others! Thanks for watching Floodland99 99!
I stayed here about 5 years ago for a comedy show. Was surprised how nice the hotel was . Not much into casinos but the amenities and entertainment here are tops. Makes you forget how shitty AC is
as you know we hope to be in las vegas in december, but we have always fancied atlantic city for a change. is plenty of things to see and do when you are not gambling?
The restaurants in my opinion are better and less crowded in AC! Vegas is over rated and the lines are just too long for most of the restaurants, etc. AC is more laidback and has a beach instead of just being stuck in the middle of the desert in Vegas!
Some people love AC others not so much. Watch the videos and if you want to give it a try go for it! Most of the activity is around the hotels, casinos and boardwalk. If you are planning on a visit, I suggest Winter as my last choice unless you really enjoy cold weather and perhaps snow. I'll take a few days in Las Vegas over AC in December. Thanks for watching Harry!
I'm headed to the Trop with my buddy in 2 days. We prefer fall because it's not so busy, and rates are low. I also recommend arriving on a Sunday or early in the week, again because it's not very busy and rates are low.
It depends on the place. I was there in the afternoon and some places don't open until early evening. Others are only open on weekends while others simply haven't opened since the pandemic. This is not a Tropicana issue, you see it everywhere in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Orlando, etc. It has nothing to do with pandemic restrictions, these places simply can't find people to work and therefore can not keep normal operating hours. Thanks for watching John!
Seaside buffet is no longer in operation, hash house a gogo now occupies the former buffet, was a good buffet but Covid-19 killed that. Hash house is also in Mohegan sun , good food and drinks, I like the blt Bloody Mary, comes with bacon lettuce and tomato on the side .
