Great, day in the life’… video mate, “Like a box of chocolates, never know what your gonna get”. Lol Well done on subs buddy, I may even start doing vids? My other business has a channel, (wedding DJ) took me nearly 2 years to get over 300 subs, so brilliant job. Keep em coming.
This was a couple of jam packed days. I've never seen a window lock like that before, no wonder it was a hassle to get out, wouldn't want to drop anything. Are all the places multi story over there? I guess space is tight so building up is the way to go. Nor have I seen that ERA night latch. What's with installing dead bolts at the bottom of the door, having to bend down to lock the door I think would be a hassle, especially if you had your arms loaded up with shopping. That massive place you went to with that stunning curvature and views, WOW. So this answers my pervious questions from your tour of Brighton in last video, those massive ornate buildings are all apartment complexes. As far as your question of space issues in a small van I've got a few links for you to check out. The first one is Dr Lock in Sydney NSW, he has done a few videos on refitting his new van, he upgraded from a van like yours to a bigger van. He did a series of videos on it. As part of the videos series he goes through the van like yours as he is selling it and shows how it is fitted out and in the other videos he talks about the changes he had added to the new van. Link is ua-cam.com/video/tUa9Vh2hY0g/v-deo.html the next link I'm going to suggest is for another locksmith is in America, Locksny knows them they are CLK Supplies and they have done a series of videos showing how they have fitted out their new van and then the series goes on to have other locksmiths on as guests showing how they have their vans of all sizes fitted out. I will just give you the link to the channel, and you can check out their content, I'm not sure if they have all the vans in a playlist Link is CLKSupplies ua-cam.com/users/clksupplies another channel worth subbing to. Well the cricket has fifteen minutes till end of days three's play, Australia is all over the English, Cheers
You had to mention the cricket didn’t ya?!?!? We will be fine 😳😂 No chance we will be winning the Ashes!! I already follow Dr Lock so will check out his vids on van tours and see if I can get some inspiration, thank you 🙏🏼 Yeah most houses over here are at least 2 storeys but a lot are 3 with a loft conversion. Although the large beautiful house I did the patio door works on was over 5 floors and was absolutely stunning! It’s so rare these days to find a house of that size in Brighton that’s not been converted into 5-6 flats. Thank you again for helping me reach my 100 subs mile stone way before Christmas ☺️ You are an absolute legend ❤️
Oh and we often will install a night latch around 500mm - 600mm down from the top of the door and then a deadlock lower down around 800mm -1000mm up from the bottom to spread the distance of locks which increases the spread of the lock load if that makes sense 😊
And finally!! The ERA nightlatch is a very popular choice of night latch over here. It is my go to night latch. There are a few different varieties including a low security, medium security and a British Standard High Security version 😊
@@brighton_locksmith I wondered if it was to help prevent the door being kicked in. But yeah that does make sense. Well i need to go start my day before of to Brother inlaws for his birth day and to watch the cricket. Mate this is the Ashes, anything can happen, like us loosing our fast bowler and Captain to a covid close contact he's in isolation now. I've seen England in an Ashes come back from impossible to win games, So I think we still have a challenge on our hands to get that little urn, cheers mate, enjoy your day
Great Video! So many interesting locks in the UK. You work on a lot of profile locks. I haven’t seen but one in my area. In regards to storage, check out the Craftsman Versa Stack. Great storage options especially when space economy is an issue.
@@brighton_locksmith I'm in middle of getting first van and was looking at something similar not too big at first but reckon I might need a wagon at this rate 🤣
Just put a request out in Lockpicking Patrolmans live stream for the lads to sub to get you your 100 milestone, congratulations my friend, you have reached your first goal
@@brighton_locksmithWhen I watched my first video of yours you said you were on 66 subs, and really wanted to get to 100, so when you ask for a shoutout i knew that's what I was going to ask the locksport regulars to help you get to your first milestone. Then after the shoutouts you were at 90 something, I am a moderator on LPP channel live streams and can post links in the chat. So I ask the lads to take a look and give a sub. Then locksny came in on the chat and was saying how great your channel is also, so basically backing me up, So the lads started to sub without watching your channel because we we in the middle of a live stream. I said you would be stoked to wake up and find you had made your milestone. Locksny and me continued this over on another livestream that's on straight after the one I'm a mod on finishes, the same lads were there and those that hadn't subbed did it in the break before the live stream started. They are all very interested in Locksmithing or are locksmithsing. So that's how our community works. LPP did you a shoutout on his live stream a few times during the hour he was on as well.
Oh and now you are over 100 wait a week and then you can change your URL in YT setting to include your channel name so it's easier for people to find, cheers

Regarding the window mechs which I'm not keyed up on yet do you stock full replacements strip's or gearboxes like centre cases for doors 🤔
I stock a few gearboxes and a few strips from about 250mm up to 800mm. I can’t get much more than that in my van 😂
