What a beautiful story...Thank you so much for posting the story of Bella and her baby...AND thank you so much for saving them and giving them a real home...Candy ♥♥♥
THANK YOU "SASHA" Farm for caring for the sweet and gentle cows who can now live in peace and can spend a normal life as the way it is supposed to be. Many people don't realize the Inner feelings & the emotional trauma of these animals who happened to undergo in silence. We certainly now live in a modern era and it is not necessary to make Animals suffer in vain either. I hope and pray that very soon those malicious slaughter houses be Banned completely. No matter what it is, slaughtering any animal is Evil. Period.
Bella is clearly embracing her baby at 4:19... the love of the mother for her child cannot be denied...my grief for all the cows on factory farms increases
I love Bella's story.Especially the part about her finally having the chance to keep and bond with her baby for the first time after a lifetime of them being taken from her at birth so her milk could be sold. I also love the story of Julia and her babies.Check that story out at Farmsanctuary.com. Very similar to Bellas story. So cool.
That does it. I have long shunned red meat. But I have given up on dairy products too as of now. I kind of knew all these sad facts - but probably did not want to think of them when I poured milk on my morning cereal or had a cheese pizza.
It's odd how a video of a man taking a deer out of his pool has 12million, while this has less than 90,000. This situation is far more extreme, and most people support it on a daily basis with their dairy purchases and consumption. Drinking human milk is disgusting? But drinking milk from another species with the addition of blood and pus isn't? 'Kay.
I really luv I guys for giving these cows and their innocent babies a loving home to live in peace. It just tore my heart when I saw this post. At first I thought it was posted by an evil person, then I realized it was to educate people of this cruel sadist act. I've been a strict vegan for many yrs so I know about this. I'm from Michigan and remember this too. U will be especially rewarded in Heaven. Also thanks for the info about non dairy products to substitute for dairy products, God Bless!
I actually didn't mind fruit juice on cereal and of course coconut or almond milk is very good. I don't eat cereal anymore though. I prefer to start my day with a delicious 7 banana and berry smoothie. No longer need coffee to get me going either with all the sugar in the smoothie.
I feel so happy for those poor animals now. But very sad to know that everyday these cute and innocent animals are dying at the hands of heartless humans in slaughter houses when i see them on the road on the trucks on the way to be slaughtered from my car i feel very bad deep inside of me.
you and people like you are angels. keep on with the message of the evil meat and dairy industry , good people are being conned by advertising, they are not bad, but just kept ignorant and blinded by the money making meat/dairy market. .
Thank you for posting this wonderful story of Bella and her baby. It's nice to see a happy ending and it's nice to see a calf enjoying his mom's milk. I like the video so much that I'm posting a link to it on my vegan cooking website. Love Boe BoeDevi.Org/dairy-substitutes
If I recall correctly, the reason that the tag is still in her ear is that it was not believed to be causing her any distress. Any attempt to remove the tag would have involved, at the very least, restraining her and immobilizing her head (so as not to cause more damage while removing the tag) which would likely cause her a considerable amount of distress - and with little or no benefit to her. Of course it LOOKS bad, but how things look is not nearly as important as the quality of live for the residents at SASHA.
Is it? Ask them what they do with their calves. How early are they weaned before sending them off to slaughter? How much of their short life is spent confined (yes, veal crates in some states are getting bigger, but not by much) so that they won't develop muscles that would "ruin" the quality of the veal?
And what of the mother cows who continuously lose their children? What happens to them when they can no longer produce milk? Perhaps there are even some "humane" answers to these questions, but the bottom line is that milk production is unsustainable without the routine killing of calves and "spent" cows.
Quoting the book The Pig Who Sang to the Moon: "If you think a cow never gives a second thought to her missing calf, ask any farmer how long a newborn calf and her mother call for each other. One farmer told me that as long as they can see each other, they will call until they are hoarse, indefinitely. ... Laurie Winn Carlson ... quotes ... Nancy Curtis, who writes about seeing a cow disoriented for a month after losing a calf, “returning to the site of the birth, searching, calling." "
I did...I saw a calf being born I alreted the farmer to it..he came to the barn wrapped a hemp rope around the babys leg and dragged it off...I thought he would just clean it up..the mother cow looked frantically for her baby...I assumed that all would be well..the next day I returned to the farm, I went down to the barn to see the baby but was greeted with a small square package all neatly folded, and sitting on the ground outside the barn, it was the calfs skin, ( continued)
What is important is that we are aware of the cruelty and disregard of life. We need to treat animals, the land, the environment not like a commodity, a thing, but as a gift given to us. We have to take care. We have to be mindful. An animal who has lived a good life and then is humanely slaughtered is light-years away from the holocaust that goes on day after day in the meat industry today. I still eat animal occasionally, but I have to know how it lived and how it died. How were the chickens raised that provided your eggs? Do you know the farmer who provided you with your fruits and vegetables? In the age of industrilization and monopolization we are pushed to get further and further away from the source. Thankfully there is a large number of us who are conscious. We are all work in progress. Life is about learning, understanding, growing, getting better at things...and caring and loving. No need to fight or be defensive. Those are the hallmarks of the predatory subspecies among us who don't have regard for life. Understand pathological, malignant narcissism and you understand why the world is the way it is today. Too many of them are calling the shots.
You fail to recognize that plant life is LIFE! Plants are beings just like all other life forms. Does that ever enter your mind? Does it enter your mind that you kill when YOU eat? You're making a distinction where there shouldn't be one. You live and judge within your duality without giving thought to what it is that you are doing. Do you feel bad when you eat your salad? I do! Thanking what nourishes you, and acting kind and lovingly to everything around us is the best we can do in this existence. Everybody's path is different, everybody's level of consciousness is different....yours seems to be much different than mine. I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. If your thoughts are of hate and ego-gratification, it's all the same. Peace!
I agree with most of what you say, but I do not understand how an animal can be humanely killed. Can somebody be humanely raped, or humanely murdered? No! You say that we should live with the land and see ourselves as a part of it, but supporting something farmers who raise their animals for food (even if they are nice about it) is still exploitation, and that is very hypocritical of you.
Cows don't even remember there calves because when we're moving our cows she saw her calf and walk past her didn't even stop and she had 5 months together and left her for another five months didn't even remember

Since I know how cows are treated in milk industry, I drink almond milk. You should try it folks, it tastes so great and is a non-suffering product.
Thanks for all the good you guys do. God Bless You.
That does it. I have long shunned red meat. But I have given up on dairy products too as of now.
I kind of knew all these sad facts - but probably did not want to think of them when I poured milk on my morning cereal or had a cheese pizza.
They are not pets they are food for us I love meat
Amazing how she hid herself to protect her baby. Bless you guys for the work you do.

thanks for sharing this story :)
could anyone tell me what song is being played towards the end?
hmmm I wonder if they named her Bella because of twilight.Such a touching story thought that she's in a good home now.
Why does Bella still have that tag in her ear?:(

Such a sad story. That poor cow. Hope she gets a happy ending!

Is she more friendly towards the staff now?
WHAT!??? Facepalm. What medical journal have you been reading? Was it published in 1943 by any chance?
Oh this is fantastic
bless all of you
When I win the lottery, no doubt in my mind on what to spend it ..❤️
I did...I saw a calf being born I alreted the farmer to it..he came to the barn wrapped a hemp rope around the babys leg and dragged it off...I thought he would just clean it up..the mother cow looked frantically for her baby...I assumed that all would be well..the next day I returned to the farm, I went down to the barn to see the baby but was greeted with a small square package all neatly folded, and sitting on the ground outside the barn, it was the calfs skin, ( continued)
"Her leg was injured"
That's why the calf is separated...
The cow wants to keep its child. Human beings happily abort theirs all the time. Who is now better?
Wish there was a like button
She would have been so scared. Can you imagine what she's been through? A human wouldn't cope with that.
I haven't drank milk for 40 years because of the poor dairy cows
only 4k views. -.-

Vegan should b d future i agree totally. Love all animals
💚💚💚💚💚💚
America has the highest consumption of dairy per capita in the world. And guess what, it also has the highest osteoporosis rates too.
😔 So sad!
What a beautiful story wish one day allstories will be like this and leave those animals alone go vegan🙏💕
The milk is legit for the baby man. It's so crazy that this has been going on for so long.
Cows don't even remember there calves because when we're moving our cows she saw her calf and walk past her didn't even stop and she had 5 months together and left her for another five months didn't even remember

aww this is sad
Animals give us unconditional love and we return that with social torture and brutal killing machines.
poor cow...
Mr Rogers. LMAO!!
