I stopped following them the moment I realized they were not determined on paying me,
Walking away from government suppliership saved me stress, time and servitude.5 yrs later I’ve rebuild myself and healed from those wounds.
With the county government of Nairobi owing me millions which am Owk with wether they pay or not,my heart goes to those honest and hard working suppliers who gave their all to build a nation that now has turned against them.
I suggest, since Public procurement has a time frame for which money should be paid upon invoicing,in the event the money is not paid it should start accruing interest just like money owed to banks or money owed to KRA.
That way procurement officials will be pushed to pay since not paying makes the bills worse.

He's a very smart businessman. And he is still a billionaire because his goods still find their way to the government through tenderprenuers. But they pay him cash, and the small profit he makes has made him a billionaire. Our people then triple the prices and sell to government, and end up losing everything.

It is purely corruption. These tenders were awarded and the supplies officers were paid hefty bribes just to award the tenders. The accountants were waiting on the other end to collect their kickbacks, and only those with fat wallets were moved to the front of the line. They ask you to over quote, they add their own commissions and demand it upfront. When you are not paid, it's not only the cost of the goods but also commission paid upfront. It's a pity.

These pending bills stories are very unfortunate and a lot of people are losing their properties through auction, and others die because of various diseases due to stress, and are buried before getting a single penny from the National and County governments; yet a lot of money is being made to Counties and other government entities whereby a lot is being pocketed by those running the various government institutions. It is a shame that even NMS in their short-term working in Nairobi only left contractors out of pocket and quietly wound up their offices without a care in the world. My prayer is that people should categorically desist from taking any tenders from all government entities and just be comfortable doing small businesses on your own and with some peace of mind. My heart ♥ goes to allthose that have been affected, and may the Almighty GOD come to your rescue because HE is theonly one that can HELP.

If you are supplying goods, let the government first then come collect the goods or deliver the goods. Either that or take your goods elsewhere.
