All you have to do is just listen to the comments people make if you're feeding them, or if the subject comes up in a conversation. The good folks will identify themselves quickly, and so will the assholes. This can save enormous amounts of time and energy otherwise wasted trying to figure somebody out. It's one of many reasons why birds are our allies and good to have around.When somebody says "a little bird told me....." it's not all that far from the truth.

Instinct, etc. "Soul" is what we label a consciousness that is also self-aware but that is not above what the brain allows. A pidgeon brain is not at the same capacity of self-awareness as a human's, therefore they should not be put in the same category of mind.

If you find one, you call them and they go where you are to pick him/her up. There are people trying to make a better balance for them ❤️

I love kissing my bubu's neck fluff. They love it though, all pigeons love affection! I suppose thats why I get on with them. They are the sweetest little things.
By watching this it gives me mories of the day i saved a pigeon in my aunts backyard. The bird had one of its wing bone broken, and was hiding behind the clothes washer. I took it out and told my aunt to hurry to the vet. My mom was horrorized at me holding the bleeding pigeon, but still, she let me go. Nowadays i still think the pigeon was hurt by a cat or something. I like to think that the tiny pigeon is out there living their best life with its friends.
Today I fed a huge flock of pigeons a bag of trail mix at the train station in NYC. I do this every week before returning home. Today, not only did a bunch of them land on my hand, but this one sweet bird did not want me to leave. I started walking away and he flew to me and landed on my shoulder. This animal even let me pet it's chest with the back of my finger. It was such an amazing experience, I wish I could have spent the whole day with those wonderful birds 🐦 😍
I love pigeons they are a very misunderstood bird, I've rescued a few pigeons when they got sick or to wet from the rain. Unfortunately some died while others fully recovered. I've learnt a lot about pigeons and how to care for them. They are still very independent of course, but unfortunately bad weather can badly effect all species of birds. Wish more ppl would rescue injured or soaking wet birds, it's very REWARDING helping them get back into the air and happy again 😇
im a 29 yr old dude who works alone, pretty depressing. A white fantail pigeon came to my window and didn't leave for 2 days. I took him in and he was the sweetest best thing to happen to me in a long time. Unfortunately I didn't plan on having a pigeon and was learning along the way, after 12 months the neighbors cat bit him and i heard a scruffle and ran out, saw feathers and my bird was in pain and eventually died, I couldn't save him. So painful I wrapped him in a box and let him drift away. He would bring me lil sticks and coo just like this and I would give him cuddles all the time. I miss you Larry

Hey now... Pet rats are very sweet and intelligent. Rats are social creatures who form strong and deep bonds with their owners. Three of my four shower me with kisses and love cuddling. The only reason why My one don't is because he's a half wild baby I'm currently taming and even he's a sweet boy. My one rat got out and came to me when I called his name. Rats are amazing and if anything are literally personality wise like dogs if they groomed themselves non-stop like cats.

Peter W Anybody who's willing to spend time with them and provide not only food, but water for them to wash themselves will soon be surprised to witness a most remarkable transformation. They'll push each other out of the way to get in and clean themselves because they don't like being dirty and nasty any more than we do. Once they're fed and hydrated and clean, they are actually very lovely critters and fun to have around because they're extremely friendly and sociable. The investment of time and energy plus a little food and water pays off nicely in the long run.
Kila Kwin I made a scraper with a long stick. I scrape up the poop and let it dry out, and put it on the plants before I water them. It saves me a fortune in plant food and works better than anything you buy in the store. I've got 3 cactuses that every body said I should just give up on. The dried pigeon poop and generous watering brought them back from the brink of oblivion, and now they look great.
The female pigeon is such a demanding partner in the relation. She begs so much for love and attention and gets irritated when not receiving it the way and as much as she needs or wants it. Hahahahaha I like how she closes her eyes when preening owner's hand, just as humans do when kissing. Such a lovely pigeon!

Pigeons. Pigeons are very cute birds that have lots of different feathers. people think they are dumb birds who just poop everywhere..... But.. There wrong they are very sweet and can be scared easily but if u were to feed one they would stay with you and eat and then fly away. But the are adorable 🙂
@@valentds I don't see why parents treat birds the same as dogs. Birds are more emotionally stable and the only thing you need to worry about for the majority of time is noise. But, this is a big but, birds can be expensive as hell. My tiels alone took about a 1000 dollar dent in my wallet. Don't forget the vet Bill's and constant treats and replacement of toys

I used to have a pigeon my parents rescued, however we had it for a short amount of time , since they wanted it to be free, i tried to pet it but it kept running away, i could never see the potential of these animals until now, thanks for opening my eyes

They are. And their built-in GPS and their ability to see infrared light are incredibly impressive.

Well, I think seeds are better because bread sadly doesn't give them nutrition, and bread can also make them starve.
Too much bread is bad for their digestive system.

I used to have a pigeon my parents rescued, however we had it for a short amount of time , since they wanted it to be free, i tried to pet it but it kept running away, i could never see the potential of these animals until now, thanks for opening my eyes

Awe this reminds me of my pet pigeon. She would make the same noises and would like putting her head through a little circle made between my thumb and index finger. Boy she was a sweet, caring, special, kind bird. I miss her with all my heart. Thank you for this sweet video! 💙

Everytime I hear them *kill all the pigeons and doves* I say *oh I also eat dog and cat* that I'll shut those cry babies.

@@ramachatterjee4189 That's true. I think owning two pairs of doves should be an easy start out to have. I was thinking of getting 2 baby collard doves and learn how to hand feed them. Later on, get two comnon pigeons and a last two wood pigoens.
