I always wonder if anyone has the articles written about her, and what happened to all the photos of the club kid days with Christina - people must have them somewhere. It’s like a lot about her was swept under the rug except for what Nelson filmed. 😢
i dont know if you noticed on her Bday party video that Michael Alig threw for her but when she was talking to the queen with the mic on stage you can hear her speak quite matter of factly and in her/his real voice
Michael said that her parents paid her bills to stay away. That she was was an english teacher. And that quite possibly she committed suicide because she was facing prison time from that assault and she was really scared so she od'd. Now thats one story I heard.
In another video you said she required insulin. I genuinely suspect she died from type 1 diabetes complications. Her health had been declining and her feet would have been a trouble area for a diabetic.
My guess about the tv being turned sideways was the fact that Christina had schizophrenia. I have known others that have had this disease personally and all of them did something similar with their televisions. There is a psychology to it but I am not a professional.
You question Christina's logic too much. That's not to say she wasn't intelligent - that couldn't be further from the truth. With her, I don't think anything is intended to be questioned or pondered on for more than the few seconds it took for her to spit out the next bizarre sound bite. There was a brilliance in her madness that's sadly gone undiscovered by the masses (short of saying "she's the one who Marilyn Manson played in 'Party Monster'") but there are very few things she managed to say around her ever-present cigarette that were of any actual substance other than her simple enjoyment of watching whomever was along for the ride try to wrap their minds around her baritone gibberish and gleeful madness. Nelson never says "Um, Christina - your televisions are sideways." He merely sits with his cup of coffee and his omniscient camera. He compliments her and waits for the show to begin.
Christina was cremated and her ashes taken by her parents who have now both passed I believe Nelson was buried in Kershaw City Cemetary, Lancaster County, South Carolina
Retro Room Fair play to you.It is so great that you are doing what you are doing.Anyone who has any degree of empathy who watches Nelsons work simply can not help but be firstly intrigued and fascinated by all of the Characters that Nelson's work encapsulates. All of your Retro room vlogs are so so bang on. You share a deep interest regards Nelson and his work and for us to know what became of these people is wonderful. I am so so grateful to you and your efforts because you are doing all the ground work and research and I'm afraid to say that in my opinion you are now with in this circle of Clubkidology an authority. I was so thrilled for you that you had been contacted by Micheal Alig and the chap who has looked after and archived Nelsons video footage.Plus some of the Club kids and others to boot. I think that these original club kids would be proud and endeared by the fact that they and their youth and their scene as well as memories through Nelson's filming is being appreciated by a new generation. These "kids" had a lot of talent and it was great that they found somewhere such as East village and down town New York where they could find belonging and be able to express themselves and have their own culture. As we know NY in the late 70's and early 80's was an amazing place to be. Andy Warhole,Keith Harring ,Juilian Schnabel,John Michelle Basquait,Madonna ,Viva and Sylvia miles and the Warhole crew just to name a few oh and Quentin Crisp too were at the epicentre of cultural revolution. Anyway I shaln't go on but it is good to be able to chat about this stuff with someone who appreciates Nelson Sullivan and all things related. So Retro room just to say for us Nelson fans and club kid enthusiasts you are blazing the trail and reviving those times. You should be blooming proud. On another note your video editing is brilliant to. I bet you could not believe it knowing that your hard efforts would be rewarded with the original club kids getting in touch - hats of to you Retro room your vlogs are addictive and you keep the spirit alive.THANK YOU.

I wonder what happend to all her art work ??? She was talented and I'm totally fascinated by her. There needs to be a movie on her life.

You can also hear her real voice in her "after Photo shoot video" right at the beginning when she is looking for her sun glasses.

Thank you Miss Giggles
Thats an interesting perspective
And you may be right about it
Why didn't Musto write and article about her?
The Jim Morrison story was probably her relating to Nico, whom Jim did allegedly write a song for when they were dating.
Any idea where Christina or Nelson were laid to rest?
