Hopefully someone can answer this since I haven’t received an answer from the manufacturer yet. The roof slats have a smooth side and the other side more a curved and slotted side, I guess we couldn’t call it the beauty side and unfinished side like a wooden fence. This video appears to the the “smooth” side facing down so you see it from sitting inside the gazebo looking up. On Domi’s website the first photo shows the opposite with the smooth side facing up, then their third photo shows it down like it appears to be in this video. Completely confused because the website literally shown two completely different way how the roof slats should face. I instructions seem to show facing down like this video appears to but it’s very vague and never mentions which way or shows how it looks closed. Any help is greatly appreciated. The thing leakes badly on every single slat so I just want to make sure it’s installed correctly. The gutter system works but only the water that runs through the channels. Water still leaks between every single slat
@@giteshgrover I did as far as how the slats get installed, I did have them correctly. As far as the leaks go, it’s just a design issue from the way the slats sit then closed, to the design of the gutter system not being sloped. I would imaging all of the louvered pergolas are similar unless it’s some 10k brand. I still do t regret the purchase. It’s dry with light rain, it’s more heavy/windy rain it just drips all over the place. The pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion. If you need a completely dry roof system this isn’t the way to go but it handles light rain fine
looks really nice. Is it bronze or gray color?
Great setup. How does it hold up in the rain?
I just purchased the 10x10 for my deck. Looks nice.
How have been the experience with the rain?
Great video demo! Thank you!
How is it holding up a year later?
