1:50 HETFIELD:IM TRAPPED UNDER ICE!!
Ese riff lo había escrito Kirk para exodus, pero se fue para Metallica. Y paso prácticamente lo mismo que con Mechanix de Megadeth
I saw Exodus on this tour in the UK supporting Venom.
Old skool heavy metal lives on my brothers of metal. Thanks to UA-cam. Without UA-cam we can’t fucking watch anything. Rock n Roll. Brothers
People give too much credit to Metallica and too little to Exodus about their impact on the creation of Thrash Metal. Exodus was huge.
They were only big because of Kirk once being in the band. Exodus couldn't even get a record deal until '85 even though they formed before Metallica. Exodus can thank Kirk.
Exactly man, Metallica gets all the credit. Exodus, Slayer, and Anthrax were just as influential during the creation of thrash. They just didn't sell out
@@jamieheim8009 which is lame as hell because Bonded by Blood absolutely crushes Kill Em All as a debut
Kirk Hammett created Exodus and was their main songwriter and taught Gary Holt guitar, he also provided some of Metallicas most thrashy riffs. Dave mustiane for some ridiculous reason gets crowned with creating thrash even though he came from a glorified glam band until Lars introduced him to hinsrecord collection
Gr8 song, I sure wish it was part of the Bonded By Blood album. Yeh, other than that, cool:).
i roadied for EXODUS in tucso AZ i hung with Paul Bayloff had about hor conversation with him but for about 15 min he had a Heineken in his hand and fuckin twisted on the top like he was trying to open it ...then starstruck i didnt pay attention to that ...but then it hit me ....i saw him struggling with his beer ...i asked oh shut do you need an opener ..he laughed ..haha do you got one ....i used my bic light to open it ..he was surprised to see ne do that ...he was excited oh shit ....how did you open that ...then he was nevermind and took chug ...haha he saud ill be back so you can show me how you did that csuse i dont have an opener ..haha killer dude ..
R.I.P. Paul Baloff \m/
This guy was the first singer.. back in the 80s.. why is this song only found in a 2004 release?? Trippy
It was released on tempo of the damned in honor of paul baloff
Its on Another Lesson In Violence 1997 Live album
@@RegnStövel...when Baloff had reunited with the band, to complete the "how" answer
Paul was an institution in the Bay Area scene though, and the antithesis of hair metal.
BEST EXODUS'S SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually like how it sounds here. Don't know why it wasn't just added to Bonded by blood
They removed it when Kirk used it for Trapped Under Ice. They should have kept it.
@@jaymann5180 They did put it on Tempo of the Damned
Wish Hunolt would come back.
LORDGOAT1976 Altus is a good player and Heathen is a good band
@@FirebirdCamaro1220 Correct. Also Lee has been in Exodus for like 15 years now so he is really the "main" Exodus guitarist anyway
I love Rick and his albums are my favorite but I also accept that was 30 years ago and really like new Exodus albums especially PERSONA NON GRATA
Love this
I almost don't even recognize Gary holt damm
@xlakersfan32x they put this song in a cd and give thecredits to kirk hammett he and gary holt are friends
Exactly. Kirk wrote the bulk of this song. Exodus was his band. I love Gary too.
@LORDGOAT1976 but they cant beat the attitude which only Paul has _\m/
i didnt know this song was on BONDED BY BLOOD is it another version of the album ??
i got BONDED BY BLOOD and this song isnt on the record :(
Faaip De Oiad It wasn't on the original version of bonded by blood, but they rerecorded the album and included impaler on it (also on tempo of the damned)
Another lesson in violence
The song on Let There Be Blood is Hell's Breath, not Impaler. @@007speedcuber
Paul Baloff era único, lastima que la droga lo mató
Prefiro o Rob Dukes e o Steve Souza, Da pra perceber a perca de desempenho do Baloff em poucos minutos
Impaler wasn't released until Tempo of the Damned in (05?)... Was it released on an earlier album or is this a hidden track?
That was a hidden track. It was actually a demo in the 80s, while exodus formed in 1979. Also, it was written by Kirk Hammett, Gary Holt, and Paul Baloff (RIP).
If you're a metallica fan like me, you can hear the Trapped Under Ice Riff at 1:51
aw man, in my song, the drums are the same way from 0:17 - 0:24
0:17 - 0:24
Cool, but I don't think that Impaler was on Bonded by Blood... nor Deathrow and Hell's Breath. They should have been, but that's another story.
From the album, Bonded By Blood (1985)
this wrong it is on the Tempo of the Damned album
from 2004
It was a demo that he recorded in 1983 it didn't get on the album until 2004 it was a tribute to baloff
Rip holts hondo strat
What happened
sounds like exodus to me ....
This is way better than trapped under ice
😂
Hell no
Hell ye
Not even close 😆😆
Why they took so much time to record this song?
Probably too similar sounding to Trapped Under Ice so they figured it wasn't worth the resources to record it
@AlextheChamp25 cuz unlike metallica, when a band member leaves they dont use their music, and i do believe kirk hammett wrote or contributed to those songs
Except this song is on Tempo of the Damned. So, wrong
@@NMEZero666 Actually, Kirk did co-write this song, they didn't put it on Bonded by Blood because Kirk had used the riff for Trapped Under Ice. So, right...
@@munyansebastien7127 I stand corrected!
lol sounds like trapped under ice by metallica
Cause it's the same riff.
Pewnie się skapnęli i dla tego nie znalazł się na bonded by blood XD
Mega Dejw Kirk Hammet (który grał w zespole zanim dołączył do Metalliki) napisał ten riff i postanowił użyć go na Ride the Lightning. Mieli też jeden utwór, który nazywał się "Die by His Hand", jest bardzo podobny do "Creeping Death".
No a poza tym w creeping death pada "Die by my hand"
Both riffs written by the same guy, Kirk
sounds more like haunting the chapel by slayer than trapped under ice by metallica..
way slowed down tho
@@ianrivera6003 1:51
Kirk hammett left because this band had no money future
Morte e ódio eterno aos falsos!!!!
No wonder Kirk left the Focking band!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
?
@imangalimusabekov7361 to answer your question, that's a reference from Metallica's documentary: Some kind of monster where Lars ulrich says he focking left the band referring to Jason Newsted.
Steve Zetro and Rob Dukes are way better on Vocals,
NO WAY!
STFU poser. Balloff was Exodus in early 80s
@@petergosinya5211 I do like Paul, but i also like zetro.
Sounds like turd
Sounds like you write
@@mauriciohernandezdiaz9825 Sounds like what you eat.
