Could be mistaken but the pianist goes right into the development after the exposition without repeating the exposition. Then at the end of the piece he takes the repeat in which he plays the development-recapitulation once more. I also noticed that Mozart's recapitulation doesn't use a carbon copy of the primary theme group. Mozart likes to go into the parallel minor often.
Yakovlev has it all: precision and passion . A lots of other pianist have that too, but Yakovlev is supremely highly musical, tasteful, both free and disciplined, every note, every phrase under the control of a profound understanding.
First I heard this recording it was a little bit free for my taste. But then I heard second time I began to understand that such a awesome interpretation... Yakovlev say something new at all in very well-known piece of Mozart. Bravo! Reminds me Mozart of Mikhail Pletnev!
Mozart once described the meta strategy for the whole of his creative process by stating, "I am constantly searching for two notes who hue each other." )
Quand le ciel l'a fait musicien, il chante à la manière des oiseaux, du rossignol surtout dont l'improvisation est continuelle, quoique les éléments de son chant varié à l'infini soient toujours les mêmes.
Mozart uses rubato in many of his pieces, and furthermore, between movements, the tempo, dynamics, style and many more aspects of the music is different. A classical sonata / symphony could have 3-6 movements, with drastic difference between each. Furthermore, in classical music, the 2nd movement is often the slow and expressive movement, while the last movement has the most vigour and a more moderate or faster tempo. Please do not associate variable tempo or simple tempo changes with purely or solely contemporary music, as classical music, romantic music, and the 20th century music all have tempo changes. Your comment really shows your lack of understanding of music of the classical era, through the mindless assumption you made.

Он так много гастролирует и никогда не был у нас, в Беларуси. Жаль...
He looks like Shostakovich.
why does he play in different tempo ? This is MOZART , not the contemporary music
