  • This is a challenging practice problem that goes through how to determine equations for voltage across and current through a charging capacitor when it is in a circuit that is not a plain RC circuit. To analyze this circuit, we need to use Thevenin's theorem to figure out what voltage source and resistance the capacitor "sees".
If you need to review capacitors before jumping into a challenging problem like this one, check out my website:

You'll find all the basics about capacitors, as well as videos and a textbook chapter to help you understand what is happening and how to analyze charging and discharging capacitors.

1:26 is what "clicks" my mind. I learned the Thevenin theorem but the choice of choosing where the output is to manipulate it so that the new problem returns to the old solved problem. Thank you very much.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
