Your teaching style allows beginners to grasp the concepts. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Thank you for teaching me how to play the bagpipes and keep up the great work. Ive played guitar and bass for 15 years, an ive always wanted to play a wind instrument, an you've inspired me to choose the pipes.
Glad to help!
Hi Matt i enjoy your core melody approch for composing some new tune.Getting thus thé squeleton of the tune
Thank you 🙏 😊
You're welcome 😊
Makes sense, thanks!
There is a reason the British Army still teaches pipers to dance. The understanding of the feel of the music is so much better if you know both sides.
What is the song playing in the intro? Sounds nice... I wanna add that to my set.
That's "Orange & Blue"
Hey Matt, I just seasoned my first bag and I don’t know how to clean the moose valve afterwards. Do you have any tips?
I'd completely disassemble (don't try to remove the flapper itself!) and wash all the gunk off it. I go into this in some detail here: ua-cam.com/video/xSZDfkGRUWc/v-deo.htmlsi=VmXrpwFgrTTQ1vvC&t=271
Great video Matt 🏴🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️☘️🙂🙂👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks as always!
What do you think is the most famous strathspey there is?
Susan MacLeod has to be up there...
Devil In The Kitchen with Orange and Blue coming 2nd. Most highland dancers couldn't tell Susan MacLeod from Blair Drummond, but will know Devil In The Kitchen and Orange and Blue as their Highland Fling tunes.
Do you still ever play clarinet?
Nope… don’t even own one. I do still pick up my alto sax from time to time.
