All good info! Great for those new to all inclusives. I would add that the common complaint that AI food is bad or even as you say the buffets get repetitive really depends on the quality of resort you choose. Nicer AI's usually have good variety at the buffet with different themes each night of the week and they also usually have enough ala carte restaurants that you don't need to eat at the buffet much unless you want to or if you are stay for longer period. I would also add that in general you get what you pay for with AI's especially in terms of food and drinks. Also each increment of price you move up usually makes a big difference in how enjoyable the resort is. i.e a resort thats say $300/week/person more than another resort is usually noticeably nicer. If you go to a resort that $1000/week you are going to get crappy food and drinks, tired rooms, run down amenities etc. If you pay $3000 or more you get spectacular resorts with great food and drinks. There are also tone of middle tier resorts that are quite nice and give good value for money. Of course prices are dependent on time of year as well.
Thanks and actually my last few videos have been all about specific recommendations in the most popular places. Here are Punta Cana recommendations ua-cam.com/video/BKHRxOfLqdI/v-deo.html And here are Cancun recommendations ua-cam.com/video/EZD_5TPuQ8o/v-deo.html
People love to trash all inclusive's, not sure why? If you don't like them don't go to them but get off your friggin high horse that your form of travel is more valid or better than someone who likes AI's. I love AI's and I love travelling somewhere that's not AI and explore the area and culture etc. Just like I don't like the same meals everyday I also like different forms of travel and if I'm looking to unwind and relax and enjoy the sun and beach AI's are my favorite way to do so.
I totally agree. I have to admit that I was a snob about this for a long time, but now that I've been nearly everywhere and don't have quite as much energy as I used to have, I love the all-inclusive experience. Thanks for watching and commenting!
