- Welcome back to my channel.
I have been sorting and trying to organise my scrap fabric. So before I pop it all away, I just had to have a little play and make some beautiful fabric butterflies and hearts.

I have a Christian radio station in my area that accepts donations of butterflies of all sorts. They can be stickers, handmade, or whatever type. They mail them out to people who are sick with cancer, hospitals, people in treatment, etc. They call the project "Butterfly Hugs" These butterflies will be perfect. I have lots of scraps of fabric that will be perfect for this type of project. Thank you very much.
Love the ideas of creating with bits of fabric something decorative .
Gorgeous Gi! I love all the interesting and varied projects you show us. They really do elevate our journals to works of art. Thank you so much for all you do to inspire and expand our creativity.
What a lovely idea for fabric scraps! They are so adorable. And how gorgeous one would be on a journal cover! Hugs 🤗❤️🦋
I love these butterflies and hearts! They are beautiful. I can't wait to try making some. ❤😊
I was already thinking about doing this, thank you so much for making this video. God bless you, love from Kentucky. 💖🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸
Wonderful! Love both the Butterfly and the Heart! Great idea to use your scraps! 💖😍💖 TFS- Crafty Hugs!
Brilliant, Gi! Thank you for the tip on removing the paper. I had just about lost my will to live with that. 😂
Love this idea and if you had loads of them, you could stick them to larger pieces of fabric, sew them together and have a lovely big patchwork throw 😊
Beautiful and fun idea! 🦋☺️
Do I have fabric scraps? Well, of course I do, and now I have another idea of a way to use them! Thank you, Gi!
They're so pretty, Gi. Thanks for showing how to make them. 🙂❤️
Oh how lovely 🤩😍! Thanks for sharing ! 🩵💘💗🌹
I was trying to think of what Friday freebies you could do. You've done so many, it was difficult to come up with something. I thought about birds. There's such a variety. I also thought about getting ready for spring. Getting seeds and bulbs to plant, finding decoration for the garden we hope to have. I'm getting spring fever early this year. I also thought about origami but, you have videos with it.
Such lovely butterflies and hearts. I love what you created very much ❤
You could also make these out of paper scraps too! Such a great idea Gi.
Lovely, fun, so clever! Thank you, Gi, once again, for sharing your creativity. I can see a use for my scrape papers as well!😊
Gi, those are so beautiful, love them! I love fur babies & it’s cute when they bark when they’re not suppose to!😁 Beautiful job! Stay safe & have a blessed weekend!❤️

Hi Gi, I love your little beauties 😍😍😍 Please don't throw away your scraps! Now that you have all organized and a fresh eye of your stash you could make bundles to sell!?!? We all love/need little bits and bobs...so it would be nice to grab a bundle from someone else...🤩
Lovely, love it! Karen, USA, NC
Lovely idea and I’m looking forward to trying this. ❤
Fantastic ❤ them they are gorgeous. I don’t have a sewing machine but could be hand stitched.
Oh Gi now you have me wanting to cut up yardage of fabric and laces, these are brilliant and I will try my hand at it. tfs hugs🤗
Could not do it without my wonderful sewing machine 😉 Hugs Gi x
This is a great idea! I will have to give it a try.😊
They are really lovely❤️
Love these!
Beautiful and a wonderful way to use up those scraps. You could use any pattern. The one thing that always bothers me (a long time quilter) is the use of glue on the needle of an expensive machine. I actually bought a little Jamone just for paper/fiber only because I don’t want the glue getting down into my Viking. I still sew quilts and don’t want to intertwine any glue with my machine. But I see that everyone uses their good machines. I always close my eyes 😂😂😂😂
Hello. Super idée. Merci😘🇧🇪
Beautiful use of scraps.
Me encanta…que bonito gracias😊
Beautiful
Precioso me encanta
❤😊
Thank you
😊
❤❤❤❤
These are so adorable, thank you Gi for sharing the templates. I had an idea for people that might not like sewing or don't have a sewing machine, a similar thing could be done with paper scraps as well. But I love this idea to have on a journal topper. I don't mind hearing Jessi, have we ever gotten to see her? Thanks for everything you do. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Paper scraps would work perfectly, Hugs Gi x
