I've discovered that Ruff Cycles triple trees take a 29er wheel, ex factory- if your head tube is less than 8" long, mate. Top points for your welding, too- very smoooth.
Very nice job explaining it. Thanks so much. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Very nice. Now chop steering tube down. Replace stem with just a small spacer. Install an expanding plug and top-cap. Move your fork tubes up in top crown. Finish with 31мм riser clip-on handlebars. If you want higher handlebars, use longer fork tubes.
@@CburkeCustoms Yeah, it will look more like a motorcycle. Great for ebike builds. Also, fork legs can be used to hide brake cable (left) and front hub motor wire (right), by routing them inside. I internally routed back brake, rear hub motor, throttle, and all other cables in bike frame. Slant metal punch in holes and hit side with hammer, to make ports point in proper directions. Some drilling and sanding required.😁
Great videos. Thanks so much. I was recently diagnosed with some pretty heavy medical issues. Plus, it's a divorce, but your videos inspired me to get out in my shop. Thank you Were can I purchase this triple tree set up?
A little off topic, but have you done a video on disc brakes? I'm planning on a build this summer but I'm new to disc brakes and not sure how to go about it
I never do them. For a custom, I feel like less is more and it clutters the front end. I think people see me build these and assume I'm a bike guy. I'm not. I do this as art and love that it's also functional art. Other than that, I'm not the guy for disc brakes or belt drive or anything else like that.
@CburkeCustoms I completely understand, I love the work you do. It's amazing art. The ride you did with the spoons will always be my favorite. Loves that one. If I wasn't going to go with a full ebike build I'd definitely be using a coaster lol
@kylekunde1568 so mine has e-assist when breaking, and I don't even use them. As for a hard stop, I'd want the back. You lock up a front break, and you could go down.

@kylekunde1568 thank you!
You can watch my Escooter build. I did a back disc brake for that reason. My front fork already had the brackets.
@CburkeCustoms will do, thanks. You think it's better on the back or the front? Or is it purely preference?

Is this an 1 1/8’’ headset and forks?
Yes!
Love your builds! Where do you get your forks, and specific site or brand you go with?
@@andrel3 I get them wholesale. If you want a good quality fork, hit up Lawless
What headset components are you using in this video?
These are just basic ones you can get off Amazon or eBay. I use only Lawless headsets now.
