I feel heart broken 😂 but just as you said, your reasons might not be legit especially if you still reside in an African country and want to migrate to the Uk.
Please correct me, I might be wrong. I overheard a nurse say it will be a lot easier to get a registered with the Australian nursing board if you've worked in some of these countries, say Uk.

First time here and I got attracted by the caption. You have said it all. If I may add to it UK is highly populated now which makes life difficult for people migrating. The impact of inflation on housing, medical, schools for those who have kids etc.
I’m in my mid 50’s and will be moving back to Nigeria. I have achieved all I dreamed off and from day one despite being a British citizen by birth I have never seen my self living here for ever. I love luxury, big space, having helps ie maids, driver , sunshine and above all a good social life. All this non of the Western countries can not provide especially once I’m retired. My advice has always been relocate but don’t lose focus.
Wish you best of luck for the future. I’m very adventurous just like you too reason I’m a contractor just like you said I find it extremely hard to stay in one establishment for years doing the same thing day in day out. I have visited 15 countries and willing to visit more in my life time.

Healthcare can be pricey if you don’t have insurance. Even with insurance you can have co-pays ( about $10 per doctors visit). The most worrying thing about US is the GUN violence. Racism is everywhere so no difference but the money is nice. You get to save a lot. Less taxes too
