My sister is a teacher of special children and her major is sign language and im telling you im so jealous she can do the sign language!! I tried but i find it so difficult.

It needs time to learn it. If you learn this sign language in the deaf world and plus they teach you. I‘m promise you, you will be better.

I’m hard of hearing and I told all of Hearing people that you all just need to keep practice and go to any Deaf event and also hanging out with Deaf people so that way you could learn and sign language better. 😁
I only know the alphabets.. hehehe. My sister taught me before but i always forgot. Hahaha.
I watched this twice once while I had it on mute (since my first language is sign language and English is my second), then I had the sound on the second time and I say both versions are beautiful

This was so beautiful and inspiring :). I am a Deaf Studies major and am currently taking American Sign Language (ASL) 3 and I've always been passionate about signing songs even before I learned how to sign :).
chineseroxs I'm taking ASL also and I was so confused at first when she showed the judges how to sign yes. I was like "WHAT?? that was so wrong!" Then I realized that they probably weren't doing ASL but a different form of sign language.😂

I love sign language it just shows that no one is perfect no one can be perfect kids at my school are deaf and it just hurts because they don’t understand what people are saying because their death so I am one of the people that help and can be there for them and you guys just encourage me so much thank you
So beautiful I’m crying. I’m a certified sign language interpreter. First language is ASL (American Sign Language) and I love my job. This is beyond beauty. Love it! Best group ever watched!

They use it to hear the words and beat of the song. Without it they are a bit lost

I was taught BSL from the age of 4 because I went to a school for the hearing and deaf. It was an amazing community and I loved it so much but then i moved when I was 9 and i found some of my best friends again after 4 long years! Even now I use some of my signing skills to my deaf friends or even some of my hearing ones, I have also taught some of my new friends some as I’m now 13 and when I’m on FaceTime to some of my deaf friends me newer friends join in on what they can .Honestly all I want to say is sign language is an amazing language it’s beautiful , peaceful and very inspiring. Really all I want to say is if you want to achieve something believe in yourself and you WILL achieve it no matter what

That was fantastic!!. I am blown away!!. They are absolutely wonderful and extremely talented!!. It just goes to prove that all people, regardless of what disability they may or may not have, that we are all created unique and equal in the eyes of God, and that each of us are talented and gifted in our own unique way!!. The term "Disabled" should be considered "Differently Abled"!!.

Let’s be real if the younger girl was just singing I think it would be better. The 2 voices didn’t mix well together, the performance was great though! Made me very emotional
I feel deaftones are the most,touching,beautiful and The best choir in the world!
There is probably a meaning, if you or someone you know have hard hearing, feel them, feel yourself, help them don’t stand there.They are doing this just to make deaf people comfortable, normal and more confident(not to feel having to keep a secret about u being deaf )
If anyone is bullying that poor girl/boy stand up for them
If you are bullying them STOP or it’ll come back to you someday
I cried so much! Their voices and gestures plus their attitudes are so amazing. This is not just very common rather a rare talent that we really need to be proud of and to show to the world so that people will testify these girls talents and other deaf fellas who can sing well like them.

I was born hearing and now have hearing loss.
I remain fluent in American Sign Language.
Glad to see deaf people from all over the world coming out and doing whatever their heart tells them.
And Not letting society holding them back cause they are deaf

Truthfully, I didn't think the singing was that good. Maybe the voices just didn't go together well or something. Doesn't take away how good of a cause this is, and how different and cute it was.
Two people sang. One low and one pretty high, probably to demonstrate different type of people and vocal range and or with no vocals at all.

JFIMES Just two of then wee singing as the rest of the group are Deaf and it is likely their singing would have been out of pitch (depending on their hearing level).

They were all signing the song... I know 6 people that use sign language... I love this video...
So not all dead people learn how to speech, they don't believe that it is right. Most of the girls were singing, that's why it sounded a little off, since some of them that were singing are dead and couldn't hear the pitch.

Only 2 of them are actually singing the rest are signing because they are deaf
It helps that there is a teacher helping them out. I know the struggle of signing and singing is difficult, but it gets better with practice.

I know I feel like a pretty good portion of American sign language and my eyes kept veering to the people who were signing and my kept trying to recognize the signs even though it is a completely different language

This is so inspirational. These girls that can't hear still do their very best to sing the song and it was beautiful. This is why I am always so glad that I have been blessed with the ability to see, hear, talk, etc. Theses girls are going places and I wish them the best of luck in their journey.

I'm sorry, but this was frustrating to watch.
No interpreter for the folks who are Deaf.
The camera work was hearing centered.
There is no captioning.
I know they meant well, but they got it wrong.
Karen Veitch most of it had an interpreter and barely any programme puts captions on unless it’s actually hard to hear what people are saying because TV’s and all other devices have captions so it’s pretty pointless

Kenzee poor the girl with the deep voice is deaf. I don't think that that is something that she would be able to change. Her being able to learn to speak is amazing, but to actually be able to be trained to sing with a higher voice would be really hard.

Kenzee poor she can’t just change her voice to something you like better. The voice you have is the voice you have. It’s why there are different ranges. Not everyone can sing in all ranges. It’s not like just changing clothes.
I'm probably being such an asshole but I just don't get it? Why do they need so many people to sign can't they just have one? I don't know it's really late at night I'm probably missing the point

Think of it like dance. It’s the same concept, to perform something beautiful. It’s a different kind of art that some people can’t understand because they can hear and it might seem boring without sound (that’s probably the only reason why they added hearing singers, so the audience wouldn’t get bored)
