- Part2: François-Henry Bennahmias is one of the most charismatic personalities of the watch industry. With his latest release of the CODE 11.95 he got awfully criticised, some even wanted him to resign. I do recommend you not to believe everything you read and see. Before you make up your opinion please watch this video.
great interview, lot's strategic meaningful info..., Mr. Bennahmias is on the right path, hope other independent brands follow his steps...
Dear Alexander, these 2 episodes were the best interview I have ever seen in the watch industry.
You are a true gentleman, world class.
Thank you so much!!!
'Oh my goodness' is right
This was actually a good and relaxed interview From Francois. So much more clearer about the strategy from him on this.
Love the AP CEO,he puts a lot of the others to shame. Usually, boring, stuffy and not as open and honest. Whereas this guy is always good value and actually has a sense of humour,so refreshing.
absolutely worldclass interview. the best of the best. great job alexander 👏👏👏👏👏
great interview with a fantastic guy. Good vision. Always been a Jaeger man, but starting to warm up to AP...thanks to the Code 11.59
They're two guys joking around just like I do in my blue collar life. I can really relate to these two.
I absolutely want to see the code 11:59.
One day I'll get to a point where I'll own one.
I really like the effort from AP. The case looks just superb. I have a IWC portuguese which is 40.9mm so I dont think 41mm is too big a watch. Yes design of the dial can be polarising. But I think it can be refined in later iterations. I definitely applaud AP for doing other than Royal Oak.
I also hope if they want to reach the younger crowd they should try and launch one in steel with more accessible price point
Try social media also big help in sales. Especially with the younger group.
" Fortnite " gaming generation LOL
I really enjoyed these interviews. I think once the public really gets a grasp of the excruciating efforts that were put into creating and perfecting this new line and get an opportunity to hold it in their hands, they will warm up to it.
As someone who is relatively new to luxury watches, I don't understand the hate for the Code 11.95. Can someone explain it to me?
That's kind of a "war" of different leagues of fanboys ... or people that simply don't understand a new design and don't give it a chance... the 11.59 will anyhow make its way, with or without these haters ...
Great interview. Wish AP great success with the Code 11.59. Its not yet to my liking, but i trust their target market will eventually warm up to it.
Thank you for the positive feedback! I am curious to read your opinion once you have seen the watch and it was on your wrist ...
Great ! I bought an AP because I was kind of this watch, but now, I am proud, following F-H B interview !
Thanks 🙏 for letting me know! Which AP did you buy?
why its called code 11:59 ??
Francois-Henry, see you in Pattaya from the 31. of January 😉 that's what we say, when we go there, but don't want to tell anyone about it 😛 🤣😂🤣hehe great interview, even though I don't agree on how amazing the code 11:59 is... but I haven't seen it live ... as im told its better in real life ....but the interview style and content great 👍 and Francois-Henry seems like a lovely guy, that would be nice to hang out with ...
Christoffer, I love your comment! Pure emotions! That's what all here should be about. Emotions, fun and the sunny side of life. You made my day! Thanks!
Great interview 👍😊
Phillip Pugh Philip thank you for the positive feedback!!!
Alexander, I really like your videos and have been following them for a while! I just had an amazing experience at Audemars Piguet in Hong Kong and would like to send my compliments to François-Henry. Would you be able to pass on a message? Best regards, Heinrich
I am happy to read this and I thank you for the positive feedback! Can you please send me an email highlighting what you experienced? I will with pleasure forward it to Francois...
WatchAdvisor That is great, many thanks! Will gladly send an email. To which email address may I send the message? Best regards, Heinrich

WatchAdvisor Thank you! I’ve emailed you a note. Best regards from Hong Kong
Great ! I bought an AP because I was kind of this watch, but now, I am proud, following F-H B interview !
“Ok pumpkin?” Hahaha
Bravo B Always lots of fun to interview François!
I love watching these two. Lets do this again
Haha 😂 Yes, we should do this again, but François decided to step down as CEO from AP…
1:35 GAYLORDS !
get a room already 🤣🤣
I thought the same
Great - you have a skill for making people feel comfortable expressing themselves
amazing video. it is so good to see alexander making jokes the ceo's. BRAVO
François-Henry Bennahmias is quite a character, isn't he? Certainly not like the average stuffy CEO...
Jay Burgess Absolutely true! François-Henry is a pure emotional and charismatic leader. I believe other brands would need someone like him too. This industry sells dreams and emotions, things no one really needs and not rationality...
Very interesting. Looking forward to new developments.
Looking forward to the next instalment! Will be interesting to see what transpires of the ‘certified pre-owned’ initiative... I always thought that in a sense, that’s what the purpose of recent service was, it seems there will be more to it than that
AP is ahead of time in certain developments... Ideas they have will be copied soon by others...
00:47 did they forget to put hands and indices on the prototypes?
Great insights. Thank you
Thank you so much for this great video Alexander! What do you think
about introduction of Code 11.59 Self winding (Time only model)in
stainless steel with green dial (like AP RO Offshore boutique edition) ?
If you have a chance to talk to Mr Bennahmias next time can you ask him
about it? That lime green or toxic green would look cool and unique
since white, black, blue are quite common.
Green? Why not! I think the 11.95 would look good with such dial... I will propose it to Francois next time I see him.
@@WatchAdvisor Thank you very much, sir!
I want AP to be successful and I love the fact that they actually talk to their audience and watch enthusiasts.
Rustam Kaliyev AP was and is open! If you have the chance to visit a so called AP house do it. You will then be able to live this open spirit
No problem , they are not the only one's that can say YES or NO
Claudio, to what are you referring?
funny video. great stuff
umm.. its all good but I just don't think the design is that good, the hollow lugs that are attached to only the bezel looks uncomfortable. Only my opinion, am sure the build quality is fantastic.
steven uk1 if you can try to see the 11.95 in real. I would like to know what you think then... your comments will highly be appreciated
@@WatchAdvisorI will take a look in London.
@@stevenuk Please, let us now what you think afterwards...
Very interesting interview 11:59 nice in reality love you Both
tarek makhlouf Tarek, Thank you for the kind feedback! I hope you will very soon have the opportunity to see the AP 11.95 life... But your favorite model on the wrist and let me know what you saw and felt...
Sheer enthusiasm of Francois-Henry Bennahmias is disarming ! Spirited man with a vision !
Love AP! My 15400 is the best watch I own and now it surely go up in value. I really like the 11.59. Not sure if it will be like the Millenary, however, it is great to see AP thinking outside the box.
george varughese George, there we go... Thank you for the comment! 11.95 will replace the Millenary step by step, that’s at least what I heard. You have to dare from time to time, even when you risk to shock you „Royal Oak“ community. The real smart and successful retailers I talked to in Geneva all said, that this watch will once be a killer. The fact, that it was so much criticized is the first proof and the best Start the Collection could have...
@@WatchAdvisor abtw and basically all other reviewers said they thought it was a flop you seem to be the only one defending this collection
J time will tell who was wrong and who was right
@@WatchAdvisor yessir
Fruity guy
Awesome interview :) Clearly a lot of effort has gone into this milestone release....and as with anything like this...it will always generate a strong reaction, good or bad. I would hazard to guess that most of the initial negativity is coming from people would never buy an AP in the first place, not the real brand enthusiasts. As Francois said, the watches have to get into people's hands and the market will decide the future of the collection.
please stop joking because you are not funny
- we laugh from you and 11.59 mr. joker
I actually like a guy in his position and he still doesn't take himself too serious nothing wrong with having a sense of humor you should try it 😉
@@phillippugh2161 if you think his jokes are funny then your 'sense of humor' is bad .. just because he looks like clown doesn't make him funny. peace
Tesla i don’t really get your sense of humor though..
@@jb6587 peace
🤣👍
Watch Ing 🙏
I haven't seen somebody so unsympathetic as Mr. Bennahmias. He is ruining AP and Mrs. Audemars should fire him.
