I just wanted to let you know that there is a TV series that lasted 1 season called Firefly and it was so good, they made a movie called Serenity, which was the name of their ship in that universe. It is a great series and the movie completes it so there is not an empty ending. It is exactly all about living offgrid in a spaceship, while taking jobs to get by, even if you don't really like it morally sometimes. Living in areas of systems that are not frequented by the government and constantly moving to get the next job. A must watch if you love Sci-fi ... But watch the series first, then the movie. This is my template, for my journeys, through the SC Verse. A word of advice, get a ship like a Taurus or a Zeus CL that has a tractor beam built in. It saves time and is much safer, if you decide to loot cargo.
Go-to microtech area, get unverified Mercenary mission to destroy all drugs. Go to bunker and keep the Weevil Eggs and maze and destroy the rest to get the mission reward and the large amount of money selling the Eggs and maze.
Cutietron your off-grid playstyle is what I tune in for most. You're a wealth of information about the game and watching your videos is always entertaining and informative. I want to emulate your playstyle, it really fits with my approach to Star Citizen, being a scrappy make do kind of character who lives off the waste and opportunity created by everyone else. Keep doing what you do!!
Fully agree on that, kinda waste a lot of potential for immersion, meanwhile they’re doing irrelevant events like saving Stanton instead of focusing the main gameplay… I know it’s an alpha but basic exploration (not « real » exploration gameplay) should be a primary focus, especially now S42 is almost done and team are back on SC🤷♂️
@@imSoltoeverybody thinks that their style of gameplay should be the priority. The save Stanton event is just as much for their testing purpose (as an alpha) as it is content for us. You can mitigate things a bit by making a bunch of crates with a basic loadout in it. It’s not off grid but if you die, you can just pick up a crate and throw it in your ship and you’re back in business. Sadly the only safe places are station inventories lol
@@DigiBentoBox SvStanton is indeed a testing tool, but capital ship battles should be a later concern, meanwhile more basic gameplay is still far from ready, I’m just confused about their priorities.
I do hope they reveal exploarion gameplay soon, I bet that is something I would be interested in ... and I would only buy an exploration vessel if the gameplay is there, policy of mine ^^ But still, you have to love that you can do everything you want. I am super bad at FPS and Space battle for example, but I love everything industry , the game is not forcing me to do anything other if I so choose ^^.
I was super bad at combat as well. You can do whatewer You want, but if You want to improve Your gameplay is also good to improove Your shills in combat. Exploration can be dangerous in the future.
I use Corsair with Nursa inside which makes me pretty much immune to most Star Citizen bugs and timesinks. Logging in/off right in your ship save so much time these days with all the bugs on elevators and stations and because you respawn right in your ship, you don't even have respawn at stations, which also saves a lot of time. Because lets face it the game is killing you, not your skill or enemies.
The small QT fuel tank will definitely be a problem in Pyro. It's weird that CIG decided to make Vulture so low on fuel. I usually stick close to Lorville and I don't run out of QT fuel because I don't need to fly all over Stanton since the ships and panels can be found everywhere. Maybe I should test it in Pyro, it makes more sense there than in Stanton. I'll have to wait until 4.0 goes into the open PTU phase though.
IMO the Zeus CL is better equipped for off griding. More cargo space and you can scoop up stuff like dead bodies with the tractor beam without leaving your ship. And you can also fly the ship from that right and left side copilot seats.
is bedloging on planet working now? I tried it a few times before 24.3 and was always waking up inside the planet so I gave up... I now bedlog in space which is working fine with every ship I tried...
Sounds like a really good way to continually lose everything. The game is not stable enough for this to be effective. 90% of game deaths or ship looses are are due to the game itself. Don't get me wrong, this wiild be ideal if the game wasnt riddled with so many bugs and glitches/crashes. But until CIG can pull their heads out of their ass's and figure things out that they haven't been able to in over 12 years, this will never actually be viable. Unless you're a glutton for punishment and just love wasting your time.
@@northernfabricationllc2281 just try it. Game is in bad state but if You're carefull enough, and know what to do, this is no problem to live in the ships for a week or so.
Big shout to @SuperMacBrother for the great off-grid content:

@jedi_drifter2988 this series is very popular among SC community. I definetly need to check this out.

That's what I've been doing, just graduated to my cutlass black from a cutter today
How do you get mission reward if you don't destroy what you keep?
@LoneWolfGames89 you destroy a percentage and taking approx 10 packages out of the 50 that are there it's enough to get all drugs destroyed!
@@LoneWolfGames89 you only need to destroy down to about 10% of the remaining narcotics.
Lancer max is my off griding home ship ;) Nursa in the back while still having 120 scu cargo space. You can do any loop you want.

Thank's a lot. o7
This is pretty much how I play, I'm a looter. Of course I am not getting rich fast but I seem to do okay. Wow scored big time. Two thumbs up.
That was nice play session, but today I woke up in Everus harbor instead of Zeus and I lost everything. Loging out in rented ship was mistake XD
It would be easier to live off grid if the crappy bugs didn't wreck all you've done. You can't reliably have your ship stocked with anything.

Hi, love your videos! If possible show some strategies to drive around with a vulture given it has a small qt fuel deposit.

It's hit and miss right now.
I'm surprised that you didn't loot the security rooms at the Covalex Distribution Center. They have P-4s and S-38s.
I would, but in armistice zone it's restricted. You can't take a gun in your hand
The Sakura sun magnolia is not an armistice zone and it has no enemies you can loot all day until someone blows up your ship
@@LoneWolfGames89 Yes, that's another great place, but I think there is much less loot boxes comparing to Covalex distribution center.
