It really comes down to this, It's your kitchen and if someone doesn't like how you run your kitchen then they can find one of their own. Every recipe should carry some mark of your own style. Great recipe once again chef!
I am watching your Chinese receipe. I am not a fan of Chinese food but I love your stir fried chicken. Yes chef everything gets better with BUTTER. Your receipes are simple and delicious. Thank you for being a good teacher, entertainer, and the best cook. God Bless you

That was great JP! Your twist on fried rice starting it with butter is just awesome. I loved the introduction alert about it not being “traditional”. You do so well mixing classical with your own version of things. Another hit!
When i watched that veggie cutting video I learned how to do 2 things. Cook harder parts of veggies before the softer parts, which makes a huge difference. And how to use the broccoli stalk! If you julien that little stalk, baby and add to fried rice or stir fry, oh my! It's so good!

I'd love for us to meet Jack! He is so fun with his duck quacks and takes on what Chef said or should have said. You two are a great team. I have never considered asparagus in fried rice which is a favorite veggie in my house. It's going in my next batch for sure. Thank you Chef!

This was my second dish from this channel, gosh it was easy to do and so delicious. I find cooking very soothing and producing a delicious dish that was fun and easy to make good for the soul. I have never made such good rice before, it was perfect in every way. My local Chinese takeaway has just lost a customer. This dish was so much better. Thanks Chef.
I just found this channel a couple of weeks ago. Chef Jean-Pierre has become my new best friend! I have learned SO much and laugh at the same time. Yes, everything is better with butter! God Bless you Chef! ❤

Chef. I like soft omlette. The chinese places overcook the eggs on nuclear heat making it rubbery. I also like sprouted beans, carrots and bell peppers in the fried rice.
I am surprised the Food Police, Fried Rice Division, has not denounced this recipe yet! Probably because they were too busy trying it out and finding it was much easier to make and just as tasty as ‘traditional’ fried rice. 😂. Ps. I made it for breakfast this morning and used peas instead of asparagus because that’s what I had. Great way to use up leftovers.
He says it isn't a traditional egg fried rice. It doesn't even try to be. But the rice is good, he used a wok, good tossing, JP could make a traditional version if he wanted to I think. But he wanted to make it french and use butter and western ingredients since that's what he had on hand. French Fried Egg Rice. And I've made it this way before, but with cooking oil and it is true. The distinct egg pieces which are a little softer and some western veggies like white onion instead of spring onion is great. Only thing I would have done differently is the garlic and ginger.
I’m Chinese, I’m not here to judge. But I bloody love this old man. He has got the magic of making my day with whatever the hell he cooks.
