    Owen heart was one of the few actually good men in wrestling. You will hear almost any reference his kindness. A true family man, stood away from drugs, and wanted to be a teacher. RIP Owen, everyone misses you.

    I remember crying that night and the night after. I was even made fun of at school because they know how big a fan of him I was but I didn't care. Rest in peace. He will always be my favorite wrestler.

      I watched him live in the 80s .. I stood right behind him and Chris Benoit.. sat right behind The late stu Hart.. highlight of the night was watching Owen fight.. The stampede wrestling days

I was revising for a Uni exam at the time and my brother calledme as it was unfolding n although I knew he wouldnt joke about somethin so serious, I held on to the thought that maybe he was until he turned up the tv and I could hear the team speakin on it. Top top guy, performer and funny dude. RIP!

      Sassy Troy I miss Owen Hart very much. It's been almost 20 years and I still miss him on television. There are guys currently on Raw, NXT, and Smackdown that can have dream matches with him, shame it will never happen.

    RIP Owen Hart May 7th 1965-May 23rd 1999 he made a impact on my life was a good wrestler! He'll be remembered forever gone not forgotten. He made a good heel! And a great Co-Ruler of The Nation with Rock as Ruler in 1998 anyone agree? Enough is enough and it's time for a change.

    He tried to maintain the kayfabe, you can tell, but that part about wanting his kids to be able to watch him was all real. Maybe that wasn't quite a kayfabe-break, but I know that the King of Harts is all-around a better guy than his in-ring persona.
    This is tough to watch! It's almost been 20 years and I still miss him. I'd like to think Bret agreed when Owen said 'I'm the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be'

      Ironically Owen was never amoured with wrestling. He wanted to provide for Martha and his kids he was by far the most entertaining wrestler there has ever been. Gone but never forgotten

      Wrong. He implied that he doesn't let them watch WWF in general, but that everything *he* does is OK for them to watch. I presume that meant his kids watched his matches sometimes.

    I miss Owen Hart very much. It's been more than 20 years and this loss hurts more than anything else because this death could have been avoided and didn't need to occur. I wish he was around in the new millennium to develop new stars.

    He’s so charismatic and entertaining the way he handles the storylines talking about the blazer and beating bret etc. He keeps up the kayfabe in his own way.
