Does it? China brings in $100B in trade surplus every month. You don't hear much about that in your mainstream media. Even with an engineered correction to the property sector which has dropped 1/3 in value, the effects of exports still easily net out on the positive side.

Chinese propaganda.. they pay a significant amount of ad revenue on their site among other places and in return Chinese bots flood the comment sections and get good coverage so gullible people invest. China's FDI has obviously nosedived but these people would make it as if they're no. 1

I wouldnt say its a turning point already.
I would say that they actually are trying to solve the problem in housing market, which plays a significant role in china's economy.
But, is it gonna work tho? cutting mortgage rate only means you get to pay less interests, which doesnt mean u dont have to pay interest at all or buy house at half price. I am wondering if chinese citizens are actually gonna begin to buy house bc of this policy.

Perhaps you didn't get the memo.. houses are for living, not "investing". That's the policy of the central government. Plenty of people in China still need houses.

when realstate prices collapse and govts reduce rates, investors move in to pick up these properties at lower interest rates...investors like blackstone buy these properties in dozen, by the time confidence comes back to the market, and citizens can afford to buy, prices have moved up enough higher , the lows are gone and buyers buy them expensive again.
