They're absolutely fantastic. Best concert I had seen all year [2013].
Saw them at the Eden Project in Cornwall, supporting Sigur Ros. It was a damned good show, and an amazing venue.
I know right! That is all I want. Daughter is perfection, not like any other band I have ever heard. I am so obsessed. Daughter is just beautiful. :)

Listening to the 2 original versions she is interpreting I must say she is a true talent. Her version is so different, the 2 songs are miles appart from each other, and yet she perfectly matched them in a beautiful song.
One night, about 2 months ago.. I was having vodka.. Sitting on my bike.. Listening to this song.

They play the same notes in a lot of their songs. It's basically the same patterns to play this, Smother, and Youth.
Must have been quite complicated to re-arrange the lyrics, Justin Vernon sings in a very unique way that is sometimes not much intellegible (not meant as a critic, i actully love it) - i enjoy how Daughter's version puts a different waights to the lyrics and goes for a sparse instrumental as opposed to the flamboyant arrangement of the original, interesting to listen to and really cooL!

Daughter has a fantastic way of emphasizing the lyrics to these songs they're covering so much better than the originals sometimes. You really get to appreciate the words behind Ready for the Floor and Get Lucky by Daft Punk when its mediated through this band's raw emotion.
