Yeah, it’s because of global warming, pretty much, there are more off season swells that destroy the bank at skeleton bay, and slowly but Surely the bank is getting worse, making the break more sectional and inconsistent. 😞
It’s pretty obvious I was! I read and watch it constantly. I keep thinking one day I’ll retire and move to a place with waves! I live I central Alabama and about the only surfing I’ve done are 3 trips to Hawaii and mostly behind a boat. How else can I explain this love I have for surfing yet I live 4.5 hours from the coast? I’ve always felt this way and I’m 45 now! Honestly all I need is a board, I’ll ride a bus or hitch hike to get there! Since I’m getting divorced and no kids I guess I should start making some plans! That would be nice!

I have a sneaking suspicion nobody gives a fuck whether you count them as anything.. there are plenty of places around the world where dudes like these are super important, with televised press conferences and shit, hence why guys like Botha and Romero can make a living traveling the world surfing.. Gregg Smith I'd like to see you evolve but removing your fins(training wheels) from you surfboard. Didn't you see the stand up going over the falls? There are waves that you can surf only on you belly. Btw, most of the gnarliest waves ridden today were discovered by bodyboarders. Your comment only diminishes your integrity🤙
