This is an arrangement I did several years ago (and several jazz bands ago!) and finally had the time to fix it the way I wanted it. Many thanks to Roger Bryson (tenor and alto saxes) and Tommy Aboussleman (guitar) for playing on the demo- you both sound awesome!!! I like it because it is a great tune for beginning improvisers as the solo section is in a latin Dm samba-like jam )no changes)!

My first attempt at a video/score! I was happy I got it this close😂😂😂!!! I used my MacBook’s “photos” app which didn’t have much fine tuning editing options- any suggestions of a better app to use where I can fine tune the timing?

Hi, sorry but I did this for the standard high school jazz band instrumentation- 5saxes, 4-5 trumpets, 4trombones and rhythm section. If you mean the solo during the 2nd chorus, that’s an optional soprano sax solo in the tenor 2 part! Thanks for checking it out!!
My schools jazz band has the clarinets play Bb trumpet 4 part for jazz band, which I guess would depend on which key the clarinet is in
