Another revolutionary yacht from Grand Banks. They continue to set the standard for quality and workmanship. Second to none. Very impressive

If I had the money and need it would be a Fleming. Higher quality and integrated engineering all the way through. Comments about the overuse of teak are spot on.
check out the fpb 97 yacht - thats a true explorer in my opinion
Range of 470 NM at fast cruise. Now you're talking. These yachts are meant to go places. The new GB 85 they are building is said to do 1000 miles at 20 knots and over 3000 miles at displacement speed. Can't wait until you get a tour of that as well. This is brilliant.
Great review, as ever. But at that price you would expect a Fleming-like attention to detail, which in a couple of areas it falls short (e.g. the galley worktop and hob are not fitted with fiddles).
all of what you mentioned has nothing to do with attention to detail. Its all owners specification. These yachts are semi custom, pretty much everywhere, except the layout, can be changed to the buyers specitfication.

Is that stainless steel anchor chain ?? Love the synthetic looking teak colored caprails ( Fleming as first with this) ! " Stidd" helm seats - you know you have arrived with these. No stainless steel heat protector on the grp cover for the grill and hotplate - points off ( even with the auto off switch) UGLY blue velour color in saloon ( customer choice) . Drawer cooling is practical. Really like the third cabin. Grand Banks do a fantastic Job on their boats. Tony Fleming worked for them ( American Marine) in his early days. No Glenndining cord reel ?? Cheesy fischer panda generator - yeech ! Very nice boat.

Wow lovely boat but very expensive for 3 cabins. Great video though.
Can’t understand why the helm is in the way of getting thru to door , the bunks with bulkhead over your pillow, galley location? It’s not built to be more than a day boat I feel

For that matter I also don't understand why they save the teak on side and fore decks but lavishly waste it in engine room!

De gustibus non est disputandum, I know, but seriously. There are literally dozens of boats out there that look, do and fell much better than this.
Can’t fault the review tho, nice job as always.
You're buying craftsmanship and class, not a modern party boat. There's a reason why grand banks are so expensive yet they still have so many buyers and re-sell for so much second hand. Major features, like the hull aren't even made out of the same traditional fiberglass like "dozens of other boats". It rides at an even running attitude because of the hull design, and handles amazingly. You should sea trial one some day, its an experience like no other.
A great yacht but for nearly two million pounds and no crew cabin seems a bit expensive Jack.

Never seen teak in an engine room, very swanky.
Its a smaller Fleming 58 in disguise.
At this price you should expect the best of everything. First time I looked in the engine room I see the second rate Humphree stabilizers and the third rate fisher Panda gen set, what is going on here? What corners were cut that are not so easy to see? This is all I have to see to take my business else where.
Really don't get the pricing on these GB boats. They are like slighty better Benetau Swift Trawlers but twice the price.

Do not use teak on boats.
There is a reason why furniture manufacturers have a ban on it, and have had it for many years.
