I'd be nice to them like you are Morph, isn't that the way it's supposed to be? I couldn't expect anything out of something I had to beat half to death in order to capture...I'd probably spend the rest of my life making it up to them LOL.

These Pals use the same defense in battle my cats use when I catch them being naughty. "You can't be mad at me. I'm adorable."

So, the Palworld was kind of an advertized game where if your pal knocked out they die. I wonder if it is in the settings or if they changed this concept to not make playerbase upset?

I like this game, but it feels like its a mod more than its a game. I'm sure it will get more original as it evolves though ^^
I think they dropped the ball on the sound mixer. It's possible the ambient sounds are on the regular background music slider. A lot of players turn down or turn off in-game music.

the game feels quite janky but the creatures are all pretty cute, and it does have elements i would love in a pokemon open world game, the farm elements and the defense from raids was pretty neat, also beating the creatures senseless with a club to then abduct them is so funny to me
I have been watching a lot of live streams of this game and they must have added in the sound or it was in the settings somewhere because the waterfall and the fire/cooking does have a sound now.

You can build them things to do other than work and this helps them stay sane and happy to help you.

This is cute
two things right off the bat: the game needs to be, you know, actually stylized? The creatures are silly and cute, and then you shove them into a world thats inbetween the realizm of TOTK and Twilight Princess. Also, did ANYONE really want an actual game where you could beat and abuse your pokemon? im pretty sure everyone only wanted it in like- shitposting format for lack of a better word, this game feels like "crack treated seriously" and not in a good way... Also- IS there a storyline? because thats one of those things that holds all the big title games theyre ripping off together- a good and enguaging story that still allows you enough room to play how you want
No music and this constant sparkling sound is not my favorite choice 😅

This game is a 70%ish asset flip of Craftopia and really doesn't deserve any investment by anyone.
I feel like you never played a crafting game if you think this game is a grind or out of the norm. I can only imagine you play an RPG where to have level grind. Also, this game looks better than most crafting genre games and has a better gameplay loop than most. Though I get why people don't like the "Fortnite" look, it STILL looks better than anything close to Pokemon or Ark produces, let alone indie crafting games. The game is a riff off of Craftopia, Ark, and Pokemon Arceus (slightly). You complain about the game more than just trying to be open-ended. Also, I'm really not trying to defend this game but damn it's just so blatant.

It’s very cute, the animation and design of the pals in very appealing to me, but I agree with your overall that it doesn’t feel pulled together and engaging. Something to check out again after a couple updates?
In my primary school for harvest fest we would go to old people's homes in the neighbourhood and give them hampers made up of the things that'd been donated! Now it goes to a foodbank which is still good but alot less personal I think! My mum would always be so happy to raid the cupboards lol🥫
