Could be wrong but if you’re just guessing these lyrics it kinda sounds like he’s saying “this snake must molt” and “my tragedy reminds me”
@@Bwomp47 Yeah, I couldn't find the official lyrics anywhere, so it's a mixture of guessing and trying to read Anthony's lips as he sings. The "This snake, must maw" part is definitely hard to make out exactly what he's saying, but I listened to several different live versions of the song as well when trying to decipher the lyrics, and he never seems to pronounce a hard "t" sound that would be at the end of "molt," and the vowel sound after the "m" has a longer, open sound like "aw" as opposed to the shorter, closed sound of "ol."
I could definitely be wrong though and I'm hoping we get some lyrics in the liner notes whenever the full album comes out.

@@Bwomp47 Also casting my vote for "molt" over "maw". I feel like it makes more sense with where Anthony is at personally and moving into this new chapter. I think it's just a unique pronunciation on the track.
The lyrics are on Spotify and Genius I'm pretty sure now. It's definitely most molt, and it is soothsay.

The feeling of being a skateboarder and a father hits so hard watching this. The vibe from everyone being around and enjoying themselves is something you really only understand having lived in both worlds. I can't express how cherished that feeling is of doing what you love around those you love.

Just found Anthony green for the first time and this is my favorite song so far. The energy! And that boy can saaaaaang!
Oh boy you have a lot to catch up on! I listen to him in Circa Survive more often but I love both his solo stuff and his rock equally, I just can't seem to get enough of his voice and ingenious lyrics...ever.
As much as I don’t know Anthony, I feel like I know him through his music. I live life sort of as a hermit and spend a lot of time alone with my thoughts, and his music. Every time I sing along I get these emotions that come up like bubbles in a boiling pot which water is normally always room temperature. I use his music to tap into my deep emotions and feel them with him right there along with me, probably feeling something similar too. I met him once yet I probably have prayed for him more than anyone else in my life. Meeting him at Swanfest and all his lifes work has inspired me to pick up the guitar and to try to make music. He is in my opinion one of the best lyricist/poets alive right now. I know him making music is one of the things that keeps him going and maybe it could be for me too.

I feel this way too. A long while ago I was going through a drug addiction, around the time he put out the song "Stone hearted man" and listening to that song made me cry because I felt like we were on the same level for a few minutes and I knew what the inside of his head felt like in the moment. I saw him at a small live show in NH, there was only about 20 of us in a record store where Circa played the Blue Sky Noise album acoustic for us. On the way put the door I asked him if I could hug him and he just opened his arms and I got my favorite hug of all time. I love this dude.
This resonated very strongly with me. AG can make me feel emotions that I can’t even describe, and I’m NOT an emotional person to begin with. And it only happens with him

This song is so amazing. I saw Anthony last month in Lancaster, PA. My girlfriend (who also loves him and I don't know why she didn't get it too) bought me the VIP meet and greet as a present. Anthony was so wholesome and kind, he took time to have actual conversations with everyone he talked to; it wasn't just a handshake and a photo. First words out of his mouth with me was "hey have I met you before?" Which, no, but I've been to a bunch of Circa shows but not since COVID so it's insane that he recognized me.
Anyway, the whole show was awesome, but this song really got the crowd moving. Can't wait to see what he does next. And also credit to the band, they were awesome. And his opener, Christina Ward was awesome as well.
Also I meant to tell him this, but I've always respected how great of a father he is. One of the earlier times I saw Circa, he would let one of the kids of peek onstage, but he made him wear ear muffs. That's good dadding right there. So years later it was so cool to see him actually get the kids involved at the end of the show. Just an absolutely class guy.

I am a recovering addict such as yourself, and the hope and happiness I endure in this video with your family makes me enthusiastic, not only for you, but what I see coming for myself and my fiancé in a few years time. I now have 31 months for the first time in my life without a drop of alcohol, blow or anything else, that I used daily for over a decade. Bless you and your family, and please be here for us all. The grip of addiction is strong, but you're much stronger.

One of my best friends that passed away a couple years ago completely loved all of your Music and so every time I hear any of your songs; (especially ones like this) it makes me think of him and remember my best friend and great love whom was a beautiful person inside and out and who I miss dearly. He too loved to play his guitar and skateboard when we were teenagers and on until he passed far too young at 34.
