Awesome! I have been looking into Apoc fits. Don't usually fly Amarr ships but the Apoc made an impression. Every time I was up against one during DIR, it tore through my defenses like a knife through butter. :D It was really interesting to see how an Apoc striker worked well against different ship types. Convinced me of training into lasers after all. Once I hit t10, I am will get one for sure. If I get rich, maybe even one for null sec. :D
You will get better dps choosing +22% EM damage. Because laser damage is added together with skill bonuses AND rigs before applying. And EM damage is a fresh bonus and applies on top. You get about 9% increase in real dps from +laser and about 13.4% from +EM dmg. Also I think if you are playing actively you are better off firing on the small targets first, then turn on siege and finish BS'es. You lose some time until target is webbed to hit it. If you want to min/max you can get a shot at BS and then switch target to smalls when they are done targeting. Otherwise awesome find and usage of mechanics. As a safe ratting this is very nice indeed. Encounters are easy, compared to t10 larges in null. It is completely safe from PvP and it doesn't compete with other players, so there can be 200 ratting in the same system. Lower lvl players could pair with t10 ones and loot the loot for some fee.
@@alexgrote161 Yes income does not scale at the same rate as ship price. But if you don't lose your ship then you will make your cash back and keep making it. While cheap ships will always be limited. That' why you should upgrade, because it's an investment into the future. Also no need to spend tens of billions on maxing your core or B-Type. Cheaper apoc striker will do well too
Awesome, I don't see myself flying one of these anytime soon though, for me as a T8 pilot as strange as this may sound the Machariel and the Vindicator seem far more achievable, it takes forever to reach Tech 10... XD
Great video. I would add another target painter for more seige mode time? Please do a "Loot & Scoot" Vindi build and see what the isk/hr is with the reprocessed loot. Also please do a Alpha players "Best" build for the islands. Players grinding thier 1st Omega etc.

It gets a bonus to shield command and logi...big ore hold, but no miners. I thought I would be a solid FC ship for "stand and fight" mining fleets. They can pick up ore and heal everyone until dps arrives. Cool new content always gets me off.
I read the description again and it pretty much says it's for Compressed Space. Which makes a lot of sense...can't cloak or warp. Also orca skin is visible on market. Looks like same ship but bigger.

Great video! I've done this in a MUCH cheaper Apoc Striker fit for a while now. Is quick, easy ISK although very boring. QOTW: I doubt the new indy ships will increase industry any at all. I found that when ratting in Erzoh, u can also grab the encounters 2 jumps away which are all in chemilip. I can make around 30 mil isk an hour in a brutix doing this.
So sir the highsec Island farming is possible only if you're a tier 10 player, because me being a t7 i wasted 2 days in my gila and i made no big profit. I eventually shifted to null where i farm the better money, lol. As for the QOTW, i now feel why industry is dying. 3 days back i thought i would manufacture a t6 cruiser myself just because i had nothing to do and there were no fleets at that moment for ratting. I took 3 days to gather all the resources and guess what? They are worth double the cost of the ship itself, along with the manufacturing cost. Adding new ships would give either of 2 Outcomes. Either it will definitely break the game, as people just go mining and mine ores without any purpose except to sell on market or to corporations, and just a bragging rights factor. The other thing is they would just be ignored and not much in use, which would make no change in the current state of industry. They need to make it so the only change the insurance system is that ships are consumed from market until stock is low, THEN you can spawn them out of thin air, while at the same time leaving the market price alone.
Adding the rorqual, a mining powerbeast, I think it will break mining even more, too much ore in the market already going nowhere, with this ship it will become even worse. Interested to see if the orca will be eve's online orca, your friendly "mine faster and more" type of ship. Echoes needs to introduce more mineral sinks
Enhanced 2p Combat Rigs are currently 1.6b isk each. Enhanced Engineering 2p Rigs are currently 600m isk each. So 6.6b isk for the 2p rigs then I’ll need the actual rigs themselves. So as much as I like your fit I don’t have the 8 to 10b isk required to fit it.
At good level of your nanocore at skills, Best dps is achieved with 3x aerators rigs. I myself made a mistake cooking 2p80 with rof and dmg, in fact it gives nothing...

The systems you mentioned are the same as Erzoh (half efficient ) so if you’re looking at that highsec islands table here www.reddit.com/r/echoes_eve/comments/sudwab/analysis_of_highsec_islands_in_eve_echoes/? Look for the ones that have DIST column equal or higher than 2.
All highsec islands are highsec, and surrounded by lowsec (meaning no other connection/ jump to highsec). The only factor of efficiency is given by how many jumps away from highsec these highsec island systems are. So for example, Clarelam is 0.5, and is 2 jumps away from the nearest highsec. The mission system tries to find highsec systems to give you encounters in 0, 1 or 2 jumps away. So since 0 jumps away is your own system, 1 jump away is lowsec, 2 jumps away is also lowsec, the only place where missions will spawn is 0 jumps away which is the only highsec
This Apoc Striker sounds like a Paladin in EO, aka the single best missioning ship in the game, especially with bastion also having gotten double ROF last year. Shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that it’d be one hell of a mission boat.
They need to restrict the insurance to tech 7 and use the isk insurance for tech 8 and higher . That could balance the insurance new player friendly and boost industry.
Doesn't work for nanocores. Top level nanocores are extremely expensive to buy and evolve. For instance, my death wish nanocore for Bhaalgorn cost me about 20B isk. If it's not insured, I won't be able to use it.

In my opinion, the release of these new mining vessels need a strong industry balance patch. The isk/materials ratio needed for manufacturing and the reprocessing amount of ore/scrap needs to be tweaked. Besides that, I'm concerned about the huge influx of ore and minerals which will saturate the market and diminish their currently bad price. It's a good idea to implement new content, but if it's not done correctly, it will surely kill industry at its core. Regarding the apocalypse striker as a farmer king, I think it's nice since having it needs a huge sp investment. However, I think the striker mode needs to be tweaked since the striker mode for the raven striker is absolutely bad.
Cant believe this was barely 1 month old and the integrations went up to 2b each from 250m youve mentioned. Now this fit would cost over 8b or so. Any tips? Is that amount of farming achievable without integrating the rigs?
No plan in sight of nerfing them. I suggested several redesigns of the mechanic. So it can still be used but not exploited like it is today. Apoc striker is the best highsec island farmer you can get. The fit I presented is perfect. Rigs can be standard. Same 90-98 mil isk per hour
Depends if you like high sec quietness or nullsec random guys looking for you xD so it also depends how quiet is your nullsec area. Anyway in nullsec I’d recommend staying in fleet and keeping an eye on local. In highsec you don’t have that stress

So is this like a Paladin without a salvager for EE ? :D. As someone who flies paladin in eve, using target painters for lasers just looks so wrong, i know its a different game....but it just looks wrong after using resists/repper/heatsinks for over 10 years.
Yeah, it’s not even a Paladin, more like an apoc navy issue with siege mode. In EE the tech tree is pretty messed up, there’s no specialized content, all ships are available after a certain Character SP level. As such, ship properties are the same. It’s not T2 like the Paladin and the resists are a joke
First.. Love the apoc though I'm a bit more Conservative and run 3 heatsinks two hardners and a large repper.. I'm usually half asleep while farming so prefer to have a bit of a better tank.. I get 12m ticks with 3 missions per bounty time. Just shy of 100m per hour but decent. I have my core rigged slightly differently with EM laser damage primary.. Also I have ungrouped my lasers to avoid wasted dps Regarding the Orca. I already have too much minerals than there is demand for so I can see it just reducing mineral costs, making mining less profitable than it already is.

I’m still fiddling with the mic. Right now I had to close the gap a bit because of covid so I can’t use my full voice. Being closer to the mic it automatically catches any exhales

Why not fit the same but shoot from 90km so u can 1 shot in siege even frigs? The sniper fit will smash all, you unstack ur beam lasers and eventually one salvo takes out 2 small ships...if you a brawler u scoop loot!

Rorqual, Orca and Noctis will be a huge deal for indy. Just because it's a new content. Miners haven't got a lot of attention in the game. If they won't fix mineral sinks they will make mineral prices tank even more, but profits aside, just excitement for new ships and mechanics is there. I hope so much they won't mess them up... They might look down on miners but a lot of players enjoy doing it. Just make those ships awesome, add even bigger epic belts, add mineral sinks, faction strips miners, and maybe new industry modules. View it how you like, indy is hurting and not in a great shape lately. They need to patch it up asap. That's how you increase satisfaction, retain players and attract new ones. These new flagships will be something to look forward to. Because now after getting Covetor 2 and MK9 (sad) strip miners there is no where to improve. Yatsuki 10000000425
You can get the same outcome using a few other ships and not even being in an island. I station at amarr and never have to go more than a jump to spam 6-7 missions. You might miss out on 30 seconds every hour or two. You don't have to exploit to be successful -.- Use ewar on Apoc Strikers, they turn into floating rocks JS Slap a MWD on an Armageddon 2 kill the frigates as you go towards the striker at an angle, turn on those turret disruptors and when you get within 40 punish them for shield tanking with a nuet. Idk if that mode is even in the game anymore, but everything has a counter. Act like it -.- You can do it with an afterburner, but only if there is one Striker. If there are 2 or more, you won't get there fast enough you need the mwd. Obviously armour tank for the best resistance against the EM and Thermal. Not knocking your video, I enjoy your content and have a slight feeling you're only bringing light to this to flood those systems and mess with those pilots lol
That’s the thing, you can’t do the same without being in a highsec island. If you don’t complete an encounter in 5 minutes and then immediately start the next one, you’re not going to have the same results lol.
do you think the mega striker can be as quick as this if you use for example 3 tracking comps + 3 dmg amps to get more range on rifled and just snipe as an apoc ? I can fly drones and rails and i tried domi 2 it's kinda slow and now I'm in a sniper rokh that gives me between 8 to 12m a tick depending on how active i am but was wondering if there's a better option to get more in ticks?
Apoc striker is unmatched or was, now with the new implants, tempest striker looks pretty good due to the barrage skill which raises up dps to around 20,000 in normal mode and 40,000 in striker mode :)) although they did a small balance update recently, I’ll have to check. But the thing is, trading damage mods for computers on mega cuts down the dps. With my dominix 2 and brawling sentry fit I yield 12m per tick. I have a video on that too.
@@GicaForta yeah i checked that dominix 2 vid a while back but yeah with implants even rails are very strong with the thermal circulation implant but the thing is getting one in the first place xD I guess brawling with the mega/hyperion is best option i could have atm ?
@@GicaForta Hmm. I will give it a try. With my Large Lazers at 44 I think, I had an Alpha Strike of 13k. Just have to remember the setup. Think it might of been with 2. Have to work on the delay of the recharge. I did toy with all computers and 1 Heatsink. Still a work in process
You don’t need to fit more than 3. That is not because of their activation cooldown, but because of the active damage now all being passive. So more than 3 not worth it because stacking penalties

I feel this fit is very skill dependent. I’m in the process of training lasers and get 2000dps cold. I just find I can’t tank the damage. I didnt get intergrated rigs either. Any advice what I could change?
Indeed this was all skills 5 demo. But What you say is weird. On my live server character I don’t have all skills 5, i fly a dominix 2, I only have 1 large armor rep and 1 adaptive, no tank rigs and I tank t10 encounters without any issue. And my fit is brawling one
@@GicaForta im using ctypes on everything. Only using a armor repairer thou. Gonna remove a heat sink for an adapative and see. Btw when i say i cant tank. I mean it works but in an wave that had 2 BS i got to 25% armor and had to warp
The battleships go pop or should go pop very fast. They will not have time to bring you down to 25%. Switch to siege mode, wipe the battleships. With 20k damage every 5 seconds you’re looking at 3-5 shots max. Geddons die in 3 shots. Abadons in 5. Although, since my video, the npcs did receive some buffs. When the devs buff the ships, the same ships are used by npcs. In EO the npcs have different separate stats, just to prevent this kind of thing (buffing or nerfing player ships should not affect npcs as well) I will do the test again, and yes, it might take longer now but I’ll have to check
I did the test again, it takes a bit longer now, but the bright side is you don’t need 5 heat sinks anymore. As all activr damage has now moved to passive. So 3 heat sinks is enough. Also, no issue on tanking. I did attack on ducia foundry, last wave has 2 battleships, armor did not drop

Improve isn't the word I'd go with. It will tank the prices of ore even further. While that's good if your are building stuff for yourself it doesn't help the bottom line of industry pilots. If they pulled a ship from market every time an insurance order was filled things would be different. So instead of helping indy pilots they are going to dig the pit they are in even deeper in hopes of coming out the other side. - Ttew
I know this is an older video but wondering if this is still doable? I just recently started playing again. I'm t9 but wanting to build towards being able to do these missions. I don't need to do 100m per hour but wondering what other ships are capable of running these missions fairly easy?

Cannons put out more damage but recent balance updates have made rails be good as well. Problem is cannos have a better tracking than rails if I’m not mistaken. However snubnosed deal damage amazingly good, you just have to find a way to keep your target from moving (multiple webs I guess). Also rails have poor accuracy falloff. Cannons actually use accuracy falloff to their advantage, being big value they have more space to toy around with orbits and optimals, while rails don’t have that luxury

Great Video. I have been using the same isk making method with my raven and now raven striker for a little while and its great. For your question about industry. I think the ships being added is a great thing. We needed something new in indy. Industrial players have been shafted for a while and need more content. The noctis will bring an additional play style to the game and the people that are getting the orca and rorqual will be mainly for the higher tier players. So this will give lower tech levels something to work towards. Making isk in industry is still possible at this current state. Improve industry? Industry income is completely from player to player and after the insurance implementation they get rid of the player to player interaction. Now the industry is just a bunch of alts in any corp with reprocessing/manufacturing/inverse skills, running the game with emulator with fleets of miner barges mining afk in nullsec. Industry could be an NPC activity and It won't affect the game at all since indy players are the most lonely ppl in the game, It seems to me that it is content to play alone.
Industry is a npc activity. Build one ship and the replacements come via plex. No point filling insurance buy orders since the tax and market fees make it worse then just selling the minerals.. Only exception is probably the mordus and soe ships, though there your main revenue is RnD. Actually building them is a loss leader, though I only build so I can offload the billions of minerals I have stacking up. In any case, to actually build anything you need an isk farm to afford the button fees. Selling the items your better listing at below material cost as the broker fees and taxes to re-list anything would erode any profit so really your just converting time mining to isk, which you would be better just farming high sec islands. Pretty sure most bot farms just do this rather than bother with mining.
@@beng7845 You also need to do pve for get some isk for manufacture or you can't even start the work, the difference is that the pve is self-sustaining with unlimited bounty and instant recovery using the plex you got from the same bounty, while the industry...It's been relegated to being your little one-time workshop

You can clear faster by splitting guns into two groups of 4 and kill small ships as they burn towards you at the start
Yes I do the same with my Megathron also split the guns and the beginning of the wave your taking out 5 frigates in matter of 1 minute
I actually tried that with mixed results. Instead I turn off my Siege and one shot popped them

Works pretty fine with 2 aerators and 1 collision rigs. Weirdly enough because of the stacking penalties, the difference in dps is not so great 🤣

I tried but encounters in islands don't spawn in the same system, I only get like 2-3 within the system even after the refresh, why is that? 🤔
What system you tried? Go to Clarelam / Kattegaud / Clorteler. These are true highsec islands

Look for the ones that have DIST column equal or higher than 2.

All highsec islands are highsec, and surrounded by lowsec (meaning no other connection/ jump to highsec). The only factor of efficiency is given by how many jumps away from highsec these highsec island systems are. So for example, Clarelam is 0.5, and is 2 jumps away from the nearest highsec. The mission system tries to find highsec systems to give you encounters in 0, 1 or 2 jumps away. So since 0 jumps away is your own system, 1 jump away is lowsec, 2 jumps away is also lowsec, the only place where missions will spawn is 0 jumps away which is the only highsec
This Apoc Striker sounds like a Paladin in EO, aka the single best missioning ship in the game, especially with bastion also having gotten double ROF last year. Shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that it’d be one hell of a mission boat.

They need to restrict the insurance to tech 7 and use the isk insurance for tech 8 and higher . That could balance the insurance new player friendly and boost industry.
Doesn't work for nanocores. Top level nanocores are extremely expensive to buy and evolve. For instance, my death wish nanocore for Bhaalgorn cost me about 20B isk. If it's not insured, I won't be able to use it.

That is actually a good idea.
In my opinion, the release of these new mining vessels need a strong industry balance patch. The isk/materials ratio needed for manufacturing and the reprocessing amount of ore/scrap needs to be tweaked. Besides that, I'm concerned about the huge influx of ore and minerals which will saturate the market and diminish their currently bad price. It's a good idea to implement new content, but if it's not done correctly, it will surely kill industry at its core.
Regarding the apocalypse striker as a farmer king, I think it's nice since having it needs a huge sp investment. However, I think the striker mode needs to be tweaked since the striker mode for the raven striker is absolutely bad.
Cant believe this was barely 1 month old and the integrations went up to 2b each from 250m youve mentioned. Now this fit would cost over 8b or so. Any tips? Is that amount of farming achievable without integrating the rigs?
Yes. Further testing revealed that the % difference between having just standard rigs and integrated is not that big
No plan in sight of nerfing them. I suggested several redesigns of the mechanic. So it can still be used but not exploited like it is today. Apoc striker is the best highsec island farmer you can get. The fit I presented is perfect. Rigs can be standard. Same 90-98 mil isk per hour

Depends if you like high sec quietness or nullsec random guys looking for you xD so it also depends how quiet is your nullsec area. Anyway in nullsec I’d recommend staying in fleet and keeping an eye on local. In highsec you don’t have that stress

So is this like a Paladin without a salvager for EE ? :D. As someone who flies paladin in eve, using target painters for lasers just looks so wrong, i know its a different game....but it just looks wrong after using resists/repper/heatsinks for over 10 years.
Yeah, it’s not even a Paladin, more like an apoc navy issue with siege mode. In EE the tech tree is pretty messed up, there’s no specialized content, all ships are available after a certain Character SP level. As such, ship properties are the same. It’s not T2 like the Paladin and the resists are a joke
You forgot to give the fit price : over 15G Isk. Not everyone is able to have this amount.
Ignore the “integrated” rigs. Works fine with normal ones too.

First.. Love the apoc though I'm a bit more Conservative and run 3 heatsinks two hardners and a large repper.. I'm usually half asleep while farming so prefer to have a bit of a better tank.. I get 12m ticks with 3 missions per bounty time. Just shy of 100m per hour but decent.
I have my core rigged slightly differently with EM laser damage primary.. Also I have ungrouped my lasers to avoid wasted dps
Regarding the Orca. I already have too much minerals than there is demand for so I can see it just reducing mineral costs, making mining less profitable than it already is.

I’m still fiddling with the mic. Right now I had to close the gap a bit because of covid so I can’t use my full voice. Being closer to the mic it automatically catches any exhales

Why not fit the same but shoot from 90km so u can 1 shot in siege even frigs? The sniper fit will smash all, you unstack ur beam lasers and eventually one salvo takes out 2 small ships...if you a brawler u scoop loot!
Beams have poor rof tho. 5.3 seconds on pulse, that’s not gonna be the same for beams
@@GicaForta bud when they fly in a line u cam hit em with sentery drones....0.1. Beams melt in siege mod, i am flying now apoc on one of my alts and it melts 2 frigs qt the same time from 100km
They melt but have lower dps due to low rate of fire. I know what you mean but I’ve tested it and pulse is much faster xD
Rorqual, Orca and Noctis will be a huge deal for indy. Just because it's a new content. Miners haven't got a lot of attention in the game. If they won't fix mineral sinks they will make mineral prices tank even more, but profits aside, just excitement for new ships and mechanics is there. I hope so much they won't mess them up... They might look down on miners but a lot of players enjoy doing it.
Just make those ships awesome, add even bigger epic belts, add mineral sinks, faction strips miners, and maybe new industry modules.
View it how you like, indy is hurting and not in a great shape lately. They need to patch it up asap. That's how you increase satisfaction, retain players and attract new ones. These new flagships will be something to look forward to. Because now after getting Covetor 2 and MK9 (sad) strip miners there is no where to improve.

You can get the same outcome using a few other ships and not even being in an island. I station at amarr and never have to go more than a jump to spam 6-7 missions. You might miss out on 30 seconds every hour or two.

Slap a MWD on an Armageddon 2 kill the frigates as you go towards the striker at an angle, turn on those turret disruptors and when you get within 40 punish them for shield tanking with a nuet. Idk if that mode is even in the game anymore, but everything has a counter. Act like it -.-
You can do it with an afterburner, but only if there is one Striker. If there are 2 or more, you won't get there fast enough you need the mwd. Obviously armour tank for the best resistance against the EM and Thermal.

That’s the thing, you can’t do the same without being in a highsec island. If you don’t complete an encounter in 5 minutes and then immediately start the next one, you’re not going to have the same results lol.
do you think the mega striker can be as quick as this if you use for example 3 tracking comps + 3 dmg amps to get more range on rifled and just snipe as an apoc ?
I can fly drones and rails and i tried domi 2 it's kinda slow and now I'm in a sniper rokh that gives me between 8 to 12m a tick depending on how active i am but was wondering if there's a better option to get more in ticks?
Apoc striker is unmatched or was, now with the new implants, tempest striker looks pretty good due to the barrage skill which raises up dps to around 20,000 in normal mode and 40,000 in striker mode :)) although they did a small balance update recently, I’ll have to check. But the thing is, trading damage mods for computers on mega cuts down the dps. With my dominix 2 and brawling sentry fit I yield 12m per tick. I have a video on that too.
@@GicaForta yeah i checked that dominix 2 vid a while back but yeah with implants even rails are very strong with the thermal circulation implant but the thing is getting one in the first place xD

@@GicaForta Hmm. I will give it a try. With my Large Lazers at 44 I think, I had an Alpha Strike of 13k. Just have to remember the setup. Think it might of been with 2. Have to work on the delay of the recharge. I did toy with all computers and 1 Heatsink. Still a work in process
Also, don’t need integrated rigs, the increase is not that big. Works perfectly fine with 2 aerators and 1 collision

You don’t need to fit more than 3. That is not because of their activation cooldown, but because of the active damage now all being passive. So more than 3 not worth it because stacking penalties

I feel this fit is very skill dependent. I’m in the process of training lasers and get 2000dps cold. I just find I can’t tank the damage. I didnt get intergrated rigs either.

Indeed this was all skills 5 demo. But What you say is weird. On my live server character I don’t have all skills 5, i fly a dominix 2, I only have 1 large armor rep and 1 adaptive, no tank rigs and I tank t10 encounters without any issue. And my fit is brawling one
@@GicaForta im using ctypes on everything. Only using a armor repairer thou. Gonna remove a heat sink for an adapative and see.
Btw when i say i cant tank. I mean it works but in an wave that had 2 BS i got to 25% armor and had to warp
The battleships go pop or should go pop very fast. They will not have time to bring you down to 25%. Switch to siege mode, wipe the battleships. With 20k damage every 5 seconds you’re looking at 3-5 shots max. Geddons die in 3 shots. Abadons in 5.
Although, since my video, the npcs did receive some buffs. When the devs buff the ships, the same ships are used by npcs. In EO the npcs have different separate stats, just to prevent this kind of thing (buffing or nerfing player ships should not affect npcs as well)

I did the test again, it takes a bit longer now, but the bright side is you don’t need 5 heat sinks anymore. As all activr damage has now moved to passive. So 3 heat sinks is enough. Also, no issue on tanking. I did attack on ducia foundry, last wave has 2 battleships, armor did not drop

U know , u get 30 mil ticks so u can make 120 mil an hour in null sec . But u need a corp with max structure and all that

Improve isn't the word I'd go with. It will tank the prices of ore even further. While that's good if your are building stuff for yourself it doesn't help the bottom line of industry pilots. If they pulled a ship from market every time an insurance order was filled things would be different. So instead of helping indy pilots they are going to dig the pit they are in even deeper in hopes of coming out the other side.

Cannons put out more damage but recent balance updates have made rails be good as well. Problem is cannos have a better tracking than rails if I’m not mistaken. However snubnosed deal damage amazingly good, you just have to find a way to keep your target from moving (multiple webs I guess). Also rails have poor accuracy falloff. Cannons actually use accuracy falloff to their advantage, being big value they have more space to toy around with orbits and optimals, while rails don’t have that luxury
Nice now i'm more wiling qite mining :D i get max 46mil in mining and refining so this is double income easy :) ass new industry ships get to EE ore and minerals will drop so ships will be cheaper so it is good for pvp :D
They'll drop a little but the biggest cost to ships, particularly capitals is the button fees.

Great Video. I have been using the same isk making method with my raven and now raven striker for a little while and its great. For your question about industry. I think the ships being added is a great thing. We needed something new in indy. Industrial players have been shafted for a while and need more content. The noctis will bring an additional play style to the game and the people that are getting the orca and rorqual will be mainly for the higher tier players. So this will give lower tech levels something to work towards. Making isk in industry is still possible at this current state. (just not as much as before) This is coming from a Industrial/PVE player.

story line mission's location should be shuffled. Because gankers have bookmarked almost all mission location.
Improve industry? Industry income is completely from player to player and after the insurance implementation they get rid of the player to player interaction.
Now the industry is just a bunch of alts in any corp with reprocessing/manufacturing/inverse skills, running the game with emulator with fleets of miner barges mining afk in nullsec.
Industry could be an NPC activity and It won't affect the game at all since indy players are the most lonely ppl in the game, It seems to me that it is content to play alone.
Industry is a npc activity. Build one ship and the replacements come via plex. No point filling insurance buy orders since the tax and market fees make it worse then just selling the minerals.. Only exception is probably the mordus and soe ships, though there your main revenue is RnD. Actually building them is a loss leader, though I only build so I can offload the billions of minerals I have stacking up. In any case, to actually build anything you need an isk farm to afford the button fees. Selling the items your better listing at below material cost as the broker fees and taxes to re-list anything would erode any profit so really your just converting time mining to isk, which you would be better just farming high sec islands. Pretty sure most bot farms just do this rather than bother with mining.
@@beng7845 You also need to do pve for get some isk for manufacture or you can't even start the work, the difference is that the pve is self-sustaining with unlimited bounty and instant recovery using the plex you got from the same bounty, while the industry...It's been relegated to being your little one-time workshop
