I agree 100% with you. My personal favorites are the racing stripes home uniforms and the 1962 road block lettering for their road uniforms. I'm not a big fan of pull overs though.
I love the “Snow White” unis because I think the pinstripes are too similar to the Yankees. Like, the Yankees are known for pinstripes, so it helps differentiate the Mets if they don’t have them
@@baseballasmr4077 If you're insinuating that I am a dumbass because I correctly point out that 1969 is the eighth year of existence for a franchise that began play in 1962, you need look no further than the nearest mirror to see the real dumbass.
The racing stripes are the best of them all. I resonate with that uniform because it was marketable. It gave them a real identity that was respectable. They won with that look! The NEW YORK for the 88 road unis were legit too.
Oh and the “Snow White” uniforms were only worn until 2012, not 2014. 1997 and 2012 no drop shadow, 1998-2011 had it. 2013 the blue alternates were added.
I have a 1987 road script Rick Aguilera authentic replica as well as a 1983 Tom Seaver home. I hated the plain white and was never a fan of the black, as it was all about marketing. The current home pinnies and road greys are perfect just like they are. I never could understand why they stooped the "New York" on the road jerseys in 1974. The race stripes in the 80s were good for its time but they got weird after with the plain block letters. Very boring.
Soooooo you are saying the only team that should where that kind of lettering is the Dodgers without realising that the New York that the Mets wore originally and still wear today came from the New York Giants lettering 👀 the Mets litterally wear the New York Baseball Giants uniforms only with added blue. Blue which came from the Dodgers. The Mets colors came from the giants and Dodgers. So no the Mets using the lettering they way the Dodgers do is completely fine and did look nice.
1993 was when they changed the uniforms not 1991. Best jerseys are the ones we have now, the black ones and the 1986. The 1987 ones were awful and the 1988’s I liked.
Who's a worse villain? Mr. Burns or Butch Heddo?
Awesome video

1987 script needs to make a return as an alternate especially that the font matches the home ones.
facts
@@ceoofprosciutto235 I was hoping they would do an alternate blue road jersey with that classic 87 script. Glad the black is back too.

1969 was the eighth year of existence, putting the lie to the statement at 1:30

Would love to see the shorter angled sleeve come back. And the cream homes were pretty cool.

Great observations, lot to keep track of I definitely let that fall through the cracks, appreciate you keeping me on my toes!
snow white jerseys 1997-2014 ... Matt Harvey pitched a couple of games in them in 2013
@@kapo2012fb Ike David 2014 walk off slam was in Snow White as well lol
The snow white jerseys were worn in 2014 with a blue piping to it
Brooklyn Dodgers and *New York Giants
Love the black outs.
Less the stupid fully eye distracting white swoosh. It's like that's all you see.
I completely agree, the Nike swoosh completely takes away from all of the MLB jerseys

They also didn’t ditch the pinstripes at all!

Nice!
You didn’t do the green n orange one
That’s a spring training thing, never worn during the season 🤷🏻♂️
No mention of the underlined road jersey that goes thru the Y loop, awful. Oh and they work with the Marlins having no history

New York in script? You have to be kidding me..smh
I know dude. That 87 road jersey was way too cool! Wish they wore it for more than one season tho 😢
