Loved the video! Just some friendly advice for the sushi, you are 100% correct that you dip it upside down in the soy. But if you hold it like that, the fish will always fall down. So traditional way is to hold it by having one chopstick on top of the fish and one on the bottom on the rice! Or you can just use your hands too haha.

Was there 2 months ago, universal studio and food is the highlight. I finding use mobile Suica in apple wallet is the most convenient way to getting around tokyo, kyoto and osaka, can top it up directly in mobile when ever balance is running low. Now back to europe, really miss combini and vending machine in japan, it's so convenient. Can really use some takoyaki, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi and yakiniku. 😋

You did the correct way at the start to eat sushi by dipping only the fish portion. Lots of people dip the rice in the soy sauce causing the rice to soak up the soy sauce and thus ruining the taste. It's hard doing that with chopsticks that's why sushi is actually a finger food. Next time just use your finger to flip it that way the fish part doesn't separate. Also another way is to just pour a little soy sauce using the small bottle on top of your fish then you can use the chopsticks to pick up your food. Some Japanese use this method.

Explaining the differences between Tokyo and Osaka is a bit like comparing New York and Los Angeles. Tokyoites are the New Yorkers of Japan - they're often seen as more reserved, polite, and business-oriented. They value punctuality and precision. Imagine a Tokyoite standing in line for a train: they'll be perfectly aligned, silent, and orderly, like a well-rehearsed choreography.😌
Osakans, on the other hand, are the lively, friendly Angelenos. They're known for their humor, directness, and warmth. Picture an Osakan standing in line: they'll probably strike up a conversation with a stranger, cracking jokes and sharing a laugh. They have a reputation for being more relaxed and approachable.😆
In Tokyo, people might give you a polite nod or a quiet “hello.” In Osaka, get ready for enthusiastic greetings and maybe even a high-five. Tokyoites might prefer sophisticated, understated fashion, while Osakans love bold and vibrant styles that reflect their energetic spirit.
When it comes to food, Tokyoites savor the subtlety of flavors and presentation. Meanwhile, Osakans are all about hearty, soul-warming dishes like takoyaki and okonomiyaki - street food that's as lively as the people who make it.
So, if you want a taste of Japan's refined, bustling urban life, Tokyo is your go-to. But if you're up for some hearty laughter, loud conversations, and a lot of fun, Osaka's the place to be.🤣
