こんにちは。日本に来て頂き、大阪に来て頂きありがとうございます。色んな食ベ物を楽しんで頂けたご様子で、大阪人として嬉しく思います。また日本へいつでもお越しください。素晴らしい動画でした。おおきに。 Hello. Thank you for coming to Japan and for coming to Osaka. As an Osaka native, I am glad to see that you enjoyed the Osaka's various foods. Please come to Japan again anytime. It was a great video. Thank you.
Loved the video! Just some friendly advice for the sushi, you are 100% correct that you dip it upside down in the soy. But if you hold it like that, the fish will always fall down. So traditional way is to hold it by having one chopstick on top of the fish and one on the bottom on the rice! Or you can just use your hands too haha.
Was there 2 months ago, universal studio and food is the highlight. I finding use mobile Suica in apple wallet is the most convenient way to getting around tokyo, kyoto and osaka, can top it up directly in mobile when ever balance is running low. Now back to europe, really miss combini and vending machine in japan, it's so convenient. Can really use some takoyaki, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi and yakiniku. 😋
Good content. Your videos were very easy to listen to, watch, and enjoyable. Most of all, they look delicious ❤ As a Japanese person, I was very happy. Thank you very much 👍 Have a wonderful Sunday 🙋♂
Love your videos, Phoebe, especially the ones in Japan ! We'll be there for 3 weeks in April 2025, working our way up from Osaka to Tokyo and cannot wait !!!
Beautiful country famous every things real and good lucky to visit injoy your videos vlogs make it happiness realize different couture this is good experience .
We loved ❤ Osaka . The Markets are truly amazing , The gardens so beautiful. Looks like Osaka agrees with you . Hope you’re doing ok. We are traveling to New Bedford, Ma. Sending much love ❤️ from Harriet Jim and Yuki
Phoebe, my wife and I just got back from Japan three weeks …Tokyo, Harkone, Kanazawa , Kyoto, Nara… We couldn’t extend to Osaka… Did you prefer Kyoto over Osaka? Did we miss much? Best, John
Hiya! The food looked so good and I loved the green scenery around the castle. The ice cream looked fantastic. Osaka is a hidden gem! Have an absolutely fantastic week ahead 🤙
Your Osaka trip is giving me serious travel envy, Phoebe! The Namba Parks Garden looks like such a peaceful retreat. Any other recommendations for tranquil spots in bustling cities?
You are glowing in Japan, Phoebe! Your joy jumps out the screen, and I'm loving the new, pretty flower dress! I can't wait to go to Japan and try all those treats in the future! Also loved that you got your fav twice - you deserve it and I would do the same! 😂
Japan came out of no where but I’m so pleased because I will go there in a few weeks! This is a great appetiser, food pun absolutely intended. Also did you stop saying where next weeks episode is, or am I just not keeping up?
Osaka is very underrated, should be much more popular. I like it way better than Singapore for example, but Singapore gets more tourists and attention.
@@travelforphoebe I'm really impressed with the accommodation you found. Currently $72/night from Agoda and it's so centrally located! Definitely starring that on Google Maps. And nothing wrong with getting a second helping of takoyaki and finding a nice quiet place by the river to enjoy it.
You did the correct way at the start to eat sushi by dipping only the fish portion. Lots of people dip the rice in the soy sauce causing the rice to soak up the soy sauce and thus ruining the taste. It's hard doing that with chopsticks that's why sushi is actually a finger food. Next time just use your finger to flip it that way the fish part doesn't separate. Also another way is to just pour a little soy sauce using the small bottle on top of your fish then you can use the chopsticks to pick up your food. Some Japanese use this method.
Hi!! This is an amazing vlog, thanks so much for doing it! Question, did you have to make a reservation at the Blue Birds Rooftop for the view of Osaka castle or did you just walk right in?
Explaining the differences between Tokyo and Osaka is a bit like comparing New York and Los Angeles. Tokyoites are the New Yorkers of Japan - they're often seen as more reserved, polite, and business-oriented. They value punctuality and precision. Imagine a Tokyoite standing in line for a train: they'll be perfectly aligned, silent, and orderly, like a well-rehearsed choreography.😌 Osakans, on the other hand, are the lively, friendly Angelenos. They're known for their humor, directness, and warmth. Picture an Osakan standing in line: they'll probably strike up a conversation with a stranger, cracking jokes and sharing a laugh. They have a reputation for being more relaxed and approachable.😆 In Tokyo, people might give you a polite nod or a quiet “hello.” In Osaka, get ready for enthusiastic greetings and maybe even a high-five. Tokyoites might prefer sophisticated, understated fashion, while Osakans love bold and vibrant styles that reflect their energetic spirit. When it comes to food, Tokyoites savor the subtlety of flavors and presentation. Meanwhile, Osakans are all about hearty, soul-warming dishes like takoyaki and okonomiyaki - street food that's as lively as the people who make it. So, if you want a taste of Japan's refined, bustling urban life, Tokyo is your go-to. But if you're up for some hearty laughter, loud conversations, and a lot of fun, Osaka's the place to be.🤣
I don't know why the idea of ordering before I go into the restaurant makes me panic but it's probably a really smart strategy for them to manage the crowds
You found a good place by seeking out Dotenburi. Because by seeking out that, I consider Dotenburi to be = Americatown!! 😁😁 ...but then from a street behind Dotenburi is called Hozen-ji, which might not even apply to it!! 🤕🤕 So if it's even there, let Dotenburi's significance notice tell you!! 😆😆
Loved it. I actually was disappointed when u said that the episode was at the end. I cant wait till i visit japan. Hopefully, in 2029. Till next weeks episode.
Is it worthy going to Universal studios just by yourself ? I’m thinking of going there by myself too but not quite sure if it’s worthy going just by yourself …
