Hello WGN news, I work for H&Ms office on Jackson ST , they refuse to close our office which has over 500 employees . There’s been cases of sick employees and some who have relatives that came from China. We have emailed our site manager our concerns but H&M refuses to close their office in Chicago for “customers needs”??? . We can’t speak out either, please help

Was finally able to find some paper towels because they were limiting them one per customer, which all stores should have done much sooner. The mortality rate for coronavirus is very small except for people who are already seriously ill and the elderly, pretty much like the flu. The crazy hoarding and stockpiling were so unnecessary... About 61,000 people die yearly from the flu and the mortality rate with the coronavirus has been much smaller than that.

I could not party anywhere, had to wear a mask if inside, cannot go to social gatherings, and I would have risked reckless conduct charges if I did have COVID-19 at that point (tested positive) and go to a party where I was not allowed to go to under the stay-at-home restrictions, if my presence at the party caused a lot of guests to have COVID-19 in return from me. That was why my 50th birthday party, which was supposed to be a 1,400 person in-person event on October 22--at the time the pandemic worsened--had to go virtual---it was a Zoom event, and at least 100 guests did join with me on Zoom. I knew these brand new restrictions, laws and rules to mitigate this virus in 2020 and 2021 meant business so I had to follow the rules. I did not want to end up on a rap sheet or in jail, or worse.
Attention, White House and Congress: You can bail out industry and finance, and fund wars. Now it's time to put $2 trillion to help the people whom you purport to represent. I won't lose my job, but those who are already strapped need immediate, MEANINGFUL payments, not the mere pittance sent out a few years ago. I wish everyone well during this difficult time.

It is very hard for us whom are living paycheck to paycheck but we should bring gloves and what we can with us to work and pray as much as we can. Weather we believe this is real or not, just obey the rules, stay safe, social distancing and spend as much time with your family at home as much as you can. If your alone open a youtube channel or do a project around the house, and continue to pray. You all be safe!!
