Thank you again Andrew. I bought the EZ Torch today after watching one of your reviews. WOW! Such a difference. I was trying to solder with a Bernzomatic Turbo torch. I was also melting for a failed casting with turbotorch. This is effective for both.:)
Hi I bought this torch and connected to 3.9 kilo has bottle .... but I’m afraid of flashback wTch I hear about working with propane ; do I need any other safety like flashback arrestor which I wonder how will that fit.??
Question: I am using a propane regulator with a flash-back arrestor and I need to know what adapter that I need in order to go from the EZ torch to the arrestor (I think it is 1/4").
I've got the Orca Torch and I love it. Use them to melt and use them to make & fix jewelry. I'm a sterling silver freak and this is Perfect! I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Stars & a💯 of simplicity. If you can't use this item you should have checked into a different kind of hobby or job.
I have the full set up with proper feed back and 2 read outs of pressure and how much is in the tank ! To dangerous the other way ! And I rather know how much and the arresters !
Hi Andrew, I was wondering if this EZ Torch can be used inside the home? I want to work with copper cuff bracelets and need the torch to melt hard and medium solder. I eventually want to work with silver. Also was curious about your thoughts on the smith little torch for inside home use.
Susan DeBay Hi Susan, I don;t think Andrew will be monitoring this channel but the EZ torch is OK for home use. As with all torches you need to make sure all your hose connections are tight and free from leaks. You can use it with a calor gas bottle or with a disposable gas canister, We like the EZ torch because its light and manoeuvrable, it's flame is easily adjustable and fine for work with gold and silver. I'm afraid we don't sell the Smith little torch, so no comment from us on that - you'll need to contact Andrew direct if you're one of his students.
Great video, when soldering with hard solder and soldering a silver 1/2 wide ring band do you recommend using a lot of oxygen? ie. having the holes fully exposed? I'm new to this torch and still trying to figure it out as I'm so used to a butane one.

may i have suggestion to choose between this EZ torch and the little torch, in home which is more safer and functional? thanks!
Don't bother looking for this torch online. Its more commonly sold as the Orca Torch. I bought one off Ebay for $169.

Is the flame hot and big enough, to melt enough silver for small sand castings, like rings, pendants?
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I have questionWhich one is more dangerous ? the normal gas Same you explain or the gas with oxygen ?

Hey I'm having problems with the lube inside the propane tanks clogging the heads. Is there any way to stop that?
Where can we buy that kit sir?
Is it safe to leave it attached to the tank as long as the regulator is turned off or do we need to take everything apart?

I'd recommend the disposable propane if using this inside your home.
Interesting Andrew, Cheers.

Nice demonstration, Andrew.
My brand new orca is "coughing". I don't know what is the term. Does anyone know how to correct it?. I already checked for leaks.
