I haven't had a problem purging books as I go because I have come to know what I like and I have more than I will have years to color. Pencils have been my problem, too many. I know you are going to think I have gone bananas, but I collected 4 tins of brutfuner squares and donated them to a local school It made me feel really good to send them there, and helps me focus on the nice pencils I have remaining. Trying not to look for new books aside from the illustrators I like, or buy anymore pencils that are not available open stock. Great job, I enjoyed watching you go through this!
Your video is inspiring to go through my stash and decluttering as well. But first I had to do a quick count... 198 books, it's *bananas* I know. A bunch were purchased in my early days of coloring back when I was buying just to buy and didn't really have any preferences. Knowing that I'll never color in all of them, I want to work towards lowering that number. Thank you for sharing!

I have been turning a book that I recently finished coloring in upside down on my shelf and trying to select other books that haven’t been colored in recently, that way I’m attempting to color in a good many, especially some that I might not reach for without prompting (then I put it back on the shelf upside down). It has been a fun thing for me, helping me to branch out and color in books I might often pass up. It does drive me a bit batty to see books placed “wrongly” on the shelf hahaha but that’s a personal quirk I’m dealing with🤣

That's a huge pile of coloring books!!!! Your video makes me wish there was a coloring book library where you are not allowed to actually color the pages, but you are able to sit down with the books and take your time deciding if it's a book you really like to have or not. I have hundreds of links to coloring books that I will never buy because I don't know if I would like the paper or not. I got a pretty expensive book about a year ago because one youtuber said it was a fantastic book. The illustrations are gorgeous, but I absolutely hate the paper so I'll never color in it.
Wow, the Selene Feneche(?) books are books I’ve wanted but can’t justify the cost. ‘The Winged Beauty’ I’ve not seen before - it looked stunning. Can’t believe the cost all these books amount up to - should open a book store 🤣🙏

🍌cool bananas! That’s one comprehensive collection, unfortunately the postage to Australia probably wouldn’t make it economical to buy any of those books you are decluttering but there are a few there that I would definitely be putting my hand up for if I lived in the UK!
