20 years ago today, Central Ohio’s highway shooter, Charles McCoy was arrested.
He terrorized motorists for more than four months after the death of Gail Knisely in November of 2003. Chief Deputy Rick Minerd was a corporal at the time. He recounts the investigation, the manhunt and the terror that gripped our community.
