I love these multi-brand reviews 😊
That’s one sharp looking chase.
This video is awesome. Absolutely enjoyed watching this.
M2 seems to often be a bit off with the scaling even though (I think) they're supposed to be true 1:64. I wouldn't mind having the Kyosho if I could get it at a reasonable price. But, the Inno64 is definitely the one to get. Inno64 has yet to disappoint me. Every time, I've gotten an Inno64, it's a winner.
Awesome stuff Sir 🏆 DJK.
Excellent video comparison I really like these videos 📹 I'm waiting on the video of your autoworld vault room 👍🏻💫💫💫💫💫
Great video, I love the comparo, I would have liked to see scores in each category, and summary totals, but that’s ok, that’s not what you do. Good model selection for it, I bet MiniGt would do one really well, if they make one. I’m loving the variety of subject matter recently. Keep going!
Very interesting review & really enjoyed the deep dive into this version of the “early” Skyline. (I have two of the Inno’s already as well as the TLV sedan version and definitely can recommend them).
Not my favorite car, but I’m impressed by the Inno, very nice.
The GL version of this skyline is underrated. Like you said bang for buck. Very solid all the details you need I would say it’s second best to INNO.
Only thing holding it back imo would be the thin tires, if you have any junk konami 1/64s lying around you can harvest a set of tires off them, it definitely gives the 8-spoke wheels on the GL a meatier look. Worked wonders for my GL 510.
Great comparison video! You also need to pick up the Tarmac Global64 version that came out last year, which i would say is almost as good as the Inno, and Poprace did an outrageous Pandem version. Looking forward to more comparison videos! 👍
Greenlight for me🔥💯
Sometime you'll have to do a model comparison of the 71 Charger made by Ertl,M2,Hot Wheels and Greenlight. I think that's all that make a 1/64 1971 Charger.
Nice comparo. You certainly get what you pay for. Save for the TLV, the Inno clearly has tight quality control. It has the cleanest fit and finish of the Hakos here.
This is a casting that I collect too, but only the HWs, I haven't ventured into other brands yet so I really appreciate this video. TY 🙏. So far I have every version of the HWs castings with the exception of a 2017 all white mainline version that was released in Japan only at some kind of show/convention. Just a very small amount of those were produced, and there was a 5 pack version from 2019 that I don't think I have. And then there's 2 more that I don't think have been released yet - a purple ultra hot and a red one from the new silver line J Imports. I hope MiniGT does one, I personally think they will hit a home run with it if they do, but they don't usually do opening features, maybe Kaido House can do it.
Inno64 is the overall winner, but the Greenlight version is close to the Inno64 one (pretty good engine detail too), at a fraction of the price. The Car-Nel version looks very nice too. Nice comparison vid, you should do more videos like this with popular models (like the R34 for example).
The Greenlight is OK but my favorite is the Inno64. I have it in orange. My favorite skyline is the R34 and it's not because everyone likes it. I liked the R34 way before any brand made or even when it's was in f&f. I used in the first Gran Turismo game for ps1. Thank for this in depth video. Have a great one. I miss the weekly video. Maybe just do one a month?.
Nice cars, i prefer the Diecast Weekly because of the different cars and weird stuff
There will be weird stuff
I love these type of comparison videos between the different brands. I really do think that M2 has the best method for screwing their models to the base. Every time that you open an inno, it seems to have tires crushed into the body or the rubber tire is flattened where it was jammed against the base. Maybe they should look into using two screws with a spacer like M2.
Definitely agree. A vast majority of reviews I've seen for innos and hobby japan models almost always have flat spots on the tires, seems a bit naff for the prices they're commanding as of late. There's only so much hot water can do to rubber.
Yeah and it would be pretty easy to just have a spacer that way the cars would float above the base
I never had that issue with inno . I have only had it with Hobby Japan.
I have the inno64 tarmac works makes one that is pretty good version my best version is the fuelme they are on par with the ignition models. Nice comparison thought keep up the new content!!
Gotta get the poprace one. It's not at all stock. It's a v8. But it's pretty amazing
You need to get the Tarmac Works Global64 version, its strikes a perfect balance in the detail\cost.
Greenlight did a very good job on the GT-R. And no quality issues to report. i have one release of the M2 version, and the mirrors keep falling off. So annoying. I love the Tomica Premium version though, even though it is not 1/64. Great details at a fair price (at least here in Asia). You should try to hunt down the UGC Coffee version of this GT-R. It is the modified, racing version, but in stock colours.
inno is king but i was pleasant surprised with greenlight, great effort by them
get the pop race version you won`t be disappointed
It is definitely on my list
Killer casting 🔥
Very cool castings championdjk
u need to get the poprace ones
So far the best replica of the 2000Gt-R is the resin ignition model, for me that model broke everything.
Yeah ignition model is next level. I really want the 240z resin but damn it is expensive
This is my favorite Skyline. I have the Inno64, the Greenlight, and the DeAgostini but if I had to pick one to keep it would be the Inno. It's damn near perfect. Do you have any DeAgostini models?
I really like TLV and INNO and GL was awesome looking too 😎
I have only Tomica Premium and that basic Matchbox in greyish blue.
I'm very happy with that Tomica Premium, looks very nice for the price.
Maybe gonna sold that Matchbox, it just looks so narrow and wheels are even narrower and wheels are too big so it riders quite high.
Usually i love Matchbox basic cars, but that just doesn't look right for me.
I have sold HW ones too, those looked quite good, but i'm trying to limiting my collection and have just one or two models of cars what I really like and keep versions I like most and sell other ones away.
Just don't have room and money enough and everything is so expensive nowadays.
I'm from Europe where collecting even Mainline HW can be quite expensive, because in here Finland those can cost 3€ to 3,50€ (~3,2$ to 3,7$)...😂
This video shows you can one up TLV at a much lesser cost. TLVs don't really justify the price point for the lack of some details as compared to the competition in today's 1/64 market.
2:40 it did cost Mattel a few cents to produce that STH they are selling for over $20
Enjoyed. Would have been fun if you'd thrown in the Matchbox version. It undoubtedly would have been at the bottom of the field, but fun to see as an anchor for the comparison.
I do not like the Greenlight tail-lights. They look like a slab of red plastic that one of my young kids imperfectly painted silver over, failing to stay in the lines, such that the red plastic is evident outside of the silver trim. Ugly.
I am fond of my eight M2 59 Cadillacs. Do you have any?
I do not actually
They are a little larger than true 1/64, but very nice castings.
Good comparison video of my favourite Skyline. Inno64 is great but unfortunately without the opening parts, it comes a close second. Therefore, the best casting for me would have to be the Hot Wheels RLC version in chrome (there are other colours). It's just more complete all around as the ultimate version to have.
