I was so upset the day he left Megadeth, but after I saw his progress in Japan, man he really found his true self there, he was right about saying experiencing more colors in music rather than sticking to a band and doing same things over and over again. He is a great musician overall and a great inspiration.

Bobby Willingham ...in case you haven't noticed, this is intrumental music..meaning no vocals. ..i would really be boring if it was only chords. I don't think intrumental (shred)music is for you. Maybe try Andy James playing on EMG tv..( you may already have)...I think his songs may have that "song" sound you are looking for but if not, then intrumental shred is DEFINATELY not for you..but that's cool, it's a very, very, small niche in music today, but it's just my kind of music.. (THANKS UA-cam for existing)..there's something for everybody

Such an inspiration. He is in his own little world. It’s like Marty turns off all functions in his body and becomes a generator of energy that his guitar then receives and communicates to the listener as music. The emotion and pure enjoyment he displays here is ridiculous. A true LEGEND.

Does anyone realize that his right hand makes the isolation the dirty sound of the distortion very well especially when he uses the hammer on and bend technique. When he do this he mute the other strings perfectly

People say it's heavily influenced by Japanese native tunes. However, to me some of the techniques he used sounded very similar to what bagpipe players use. Especially in that beautiful intro.
