I need to find the full video. Caroline's dad Ernie was my back surgeon. My surgery was in Feb. of 2011 and I had been told his wife was ill, but didn't know much more than that. As I learned later, she had pancreatic cancer and it was only a matter of time before she passed away as she was under hospice care by August 2011. Ernie, his sister (I think), and their Pastor went together to the hospital to tell her of their daughter's death. Even through the many strong pain killers, she understood the unimaginable. Somehow, she made it to her daughter's funeral, taken by ambulance and hospice workers, and something that I was able to smile about in the book was that Ellyn wasn't going to do exactly what the hospice workers insisted on. At the end of the service, they came in with a wheelchair to take her right back to the hospital but she refused it. She was helped to her feet by her husband and together they walked the length of the church aisle together as the speakers in the church played Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline". She even reached out to touch hands or shoulders of others seated next to the center aisle who were trying to come to terms with this senseless death themselves, as if she were comforting them. She even managed to go to their home for a couple of hours afterwards before her pain became too much to handle and was taken back to UIHC. She passed away less than 2 weeks after "Line's" funeral. An author by the name of Bill Hoeft has written a book called "Live Like Line, Love Like Ellyn". I just got my copy last week through the bookstore at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and it is incredibly well written. I can't imagine going through this myself. The Found family is always in my prayers.
Jeffrey Cabiles she was never lost. She died in a motor accident back in August 2011 if she had a helmet she probably would have survived but nobody knew she had the moped other than her best friend kelley
