- Chucky returns to his grave to retrieve the amulet for his resurrection but everyone including his bride Tiffany stop him in his tracks.
From Bride of Chucky (1998): After being cut apart by the police, killer doll Chucky (Brad Dourif) is resurrected by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), an ex-girlfriend of the serial murderer whose soul is inside the toy. Following an argument, Chucky kills Tiffany and transfers her soul into a bride doll. To find the magical amulet that can restore them both to human form, Chucky and Tiffany arrange to be driven to New Jersey by Jesse (Nick Stabile) and Jade (Katherine Heigl), who are unaware that their cargo is alive.

I find it so emotional how Tiffany was willing to kill chucky, and put her need of a human body aside because she saw how in love Jesse and jade was. Even after going through all of this, she didn’t think it was worth breaking them up. And to me that was so heartwarming and selfless, and I love her for that❤️🔪

I find it interesting that this is the same graveyard in Hackensack New Jersey that we saw in season 1 of Chucky.Only this is in 1998,while the show takes place in 2021.
Neat to think that the teen characters in the show we saw haven't even been born here yet lol.
I know Jesse and Jade live far away from Hackensack,but it would be cool to see them in season 2 or beyond,and find out whats going on with them 23 yrs later.
I'm sure they are married and have a family by now.

So apparently Chucky isn't afraid of dead bodies (especially since he's a killer) but he is afraid of his own skeleton...interesting.

I will never understand why they made the amulet an important plot point only to forget about it after the next movie.
But hey, we still have the season 2 to see if they will elaborate on Damballa and the amulet.
It wasn't completely forgotten, it was what Glen/Glenda used to awaken his parents. It just wasn't really focused on in the next movie because they already had it and went through the trouble of getting in the movie prior.
The original rule was that the body swap can only happen to the person you first revealed yourself to. For Chucky, that was Damien, who was dead, and Tiffany hadn't revealed herself to anyone when they mentioned the heart of damballa. I guess they just needed a reason to get them to drive to Jersey and the heart does allow them more flexibility, but you're right, because Chucky didn't use it to possess Nica
@@Mkeusquealbby Wasn't very smart of Chucky to kill Damien then. Damien would've been a very easy host for Chucky to acquire, all thanks to Tiff, but of course one of Chucky's weaknesses is his anger and ego.

1:11, chucky doesn’t say what was said hear for jokes, he said that because Soul Transfer isn’t a thing like it says, what he does, he infects the thing/person as many times as one wants. It’s why there are 4 chucky’s in Cult of Chucky, same with Tiff with Tilly and the Doll. The chant is used to infect the host, not move into the body while the other gets the one chanting.
At one point that is how the whole voodoo thing worked but since the TV show Chucky season 2 episode....five, I believe, you find out that Tiffany has kept quote on quote "Jennifer Tilly" all these years and she's been stuck inside the doll the ENTIRE TIME 😬😳
