Hey Scott, I realy like your video's. B.t.w. You can adjust your mistake with the bubble on the sealing. Simply inject some glue cement and flatten it out. Cheers from Belgium :)
Very useful info for all the DIY folks. I love my van but bought it turn key from the builder. No customization for me, but I will make modifications for sure. Best of luck with your window coverings business. Wish you were around when I bought mine.
For #6, If you have a heat sensor for your phone... turn up the tempature of the floor and it should show you where the coils are... and where you can place your sensor.
Have your window covers and they’re awesome. I use the windshield cover every day. Wish I could figure out how to use the stretch cords that come with the rear view mirror cut out
The cabinet doors that you don't use often, like the plumbing etc... why even have a hinge? Just use rare earth magnets and have the panel attached that way.
Hello, I'm Skye from RIGID HVA. Is everything going well for you right now? I have not heard back from you. Could you let me know how things are going for you?
I feel emotionally validated. I’ve made so many mistakes and I always get the impression that everyone is an expert, except me. Thank you, Scott!
I think it is not about the mistakes we make but the things we do to recover from them. Great to share these to help others.
The solution to screw ups is to sell the van and build another one.

You might be able to use a heat gun to make the contact cement tacky again under the marine vinyl.
Pop the air bubble with a pin and press the air out. It may stay. Seal the hole with a little glue.
Screw ups and Last minute decision changes can be frustrating.
A thumbs up for the video 👍

why not us a syringe and inject an adhesive in that bubble, a board to wedge and apply pressure while it dries? Great tips, thanks for sharing.

We’re just starting on our build. I’m sure we’ll make mistakes but hopefully not bad enough to hurt us.
Sliding doors are your friend and SO easy with 8020 framing. Plus its cheaper.
Any advice for air bubbles between the wood and foam?
Yo! Where’d you venture off to? Any updates coming soon?
