Your technique is impeccable. was this deja vu or did you have to completely redo this? I recall seeing a video of you playing Rush before- I thought it was subdivisions but I can't find it. Great work!
Nice, Kristina! I remember an interview with Neil where he said he still found this song difficult to play "correctly". He was amazing. I miss seeing Rush live. RIP Neil. :(
To this day it was still the greatest live show I've ever seen, before and since. Hasn't been all that long since the R40 tour, the only one I ever had the chance (and money) to see, thankfully it was just in time. Finally got to see the professor. Rock truly lost an ICON when he went. RIP.
NiceI saw them when they toured with Mr Big (Presto, I think) when I was in high school, then in San Diego when they toured with Primus (Roll the Bones). After that, I went every time they came to the Salt Lake City area. Rush is the only band I've seen every chance I got. I'm glad I did.
GOOD JOB GIRL!!!!!!! And as a bassist I know that every drummer I know broke 8 sticks learning Neil Pearts wizardry. That just means your doing it right. Of course now a days the younger drummers are learning the modern day Neil Peart....................Danny Carry. But either one is awesome to model after.
Amazing Kriss.... All musicians who perform, cover, and/or recreate the music of RUSH deserve my respect and my total recognition. It takes COJONES to do it.
As an old guy I can appreciate the time you put into this. I have seen John Rutsey play the drums live for Rush and you did an awesome job with this. Now for more live action and heart. Your awesome keep going.
Tom Sawyer done on a 3 piece! 😯🙌🎯 I was really wondering how this would turn out.🤔 I was very impressed. 👌 Timing, and excellent tasty fills. Well done! 👏💯👍
Thank you for reposting. This was my favorite cover of yours and when UA-cam blocked the first video I was pretty bummed. Great job! This cover made me subscribe to your channel.
What a great representation of a Rush classic. To use only the instrumentation as your feed was terrific. You made it look easy, but most drummers will say it is a difficult song to perform. Great job, love your stuff.
Congratulations for your job. I really like this song, besides that in Brazil they changed the theme song from the MacGyver series to this wonderful song, both are wonderful songs.
What amazes me about you, Kriss, is that from listening to your interviews, you are such a peaceful soul. But, you get behind that drum kit and become a beast. True RESPECT for your skills and being a graceful, soft spoken, amazing soul! Peace my friend!
You clearly have a gift in addition to fantastic skills! This is one of the most difficult to play, and Neil himself expressed how it challenged him many times! You killed it, working that little kit too!!
Im56 and been skinning em back since age seven. This, young lady, was most excellent ! Period ! Peart was the best, my drummer 'idol' if there is such a thing, but he was who I modeled my style , theory and drive after, and you just hit the mark in my book.
@Username-krissDrummer Well I thank you very much, dear. I don't have telegram and fb and all that. That's sweet. Perhaps you pass it on to number two or maybe a younger student or even someone who isn't able to do for themselves. That would make me feel good. And as for you, I don't know what country you are in but any great musician here in America would be an idiot not to have you on their team.
Wow and your high quality vibrational energy is ebbing and flowing quite balanced. Awesome you are. Thank you for sharing your time and creative passion with me and the world. All my love dear one. Namaste 🙏🌹🙏
You don't have to be old to buy Moving Pictures😉. I bought this album when she recorded the first TS version with Geddy's vocals. I started with Rush from Snakes & Arrows. Now I prefer their older albums
That was amazing. I played this in 1980 & people including my band director were blown away that I actually played this lick for lick note for note. U too did this so well. I’m HIGHLY impressed
Звучит крайне любопытно и выглядит завораживающе) К сожалению не знаю оригинала, о группе наслышан. Прогрессив как я понял. Обязательно ознакомлюсь с их творчеством. Спасибо драмер)
It's so rare to see a girl rocking like this without revealing tops, playing with a barefoot cam, etc. Maybe I'm dumb to even bring it up when you've managed to escape it... very refreshing to see it be completely about the music/playing. Great work.
With many of the other covers of this song, they miss some of the open high-hats in the intro and some of the flams throughout. Not this one though, she got them all!! 🔥
Just the fact you even listen to Rush is awesome, I'm grateful to you for this! Gonna check out wut other covers you've done, based on your taste in music at your age!! I'm 50, and haven't listened to the radio in 20 years or more. Nothing inspiring anymore, just repetitive fake noise these days.
There ain't enough money in this world that could convince me to sing along to Rush. How can you bear to hear Geddy Lee's voice?. I mean, the guy sings like he lost his balls before puberty hit. Even my eight year old nephew has a deeper voice than that clown lol
Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.
From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
@@katrinatyler675I've been solely investing in real estate. But with the recent hyper home pricing i've liquidated a few things and have $45k in cash laying around idle. Would love to get your recommendations, I'm in search of something lucrative in the current crazy markets, i will be glad.
My portfolio is very much diversified so it's not like i have a particular fund i invest in, plus i dont do that by myself. i follow the trades of Mrs Karen Gaye Gray.
She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial advisor as her diversification skills are top notch, because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.
Neil. The man, myth, LEGEND!!! Not only his drumming skill but he being the lead lyricist to ALL the great ones or most in general. Very smart guy. True artist. To be able to write those songs are genius!!! Never forgotten!!!

I had to create the whole track including guitars, bass etc. from scratch 🥵 Hope you enjoy the result!

Nice to see The Professor is still giving lessons to the next drummers out there.
Watching this shows how much talent and hard work is required to play this masterpiece. 1000 thanks, outstanding video!

Just recently found this channel. I must say when this girl gets in her grove it's just amazingly awesome.

The Professor is definitely smiling down on you. Outstanding!
Well done, you played it exactly like the late great drummer of rush Neal Peart, good job kriss, keep it up,
I never appreciated how complex the drum work was on that song. Masterpiece!
Neil Peart is very hard to follow.
I think The Professor would approve, thanks Kristina 🤘
Man, the sound of her drum and the way she hits it sounds so satisfying! Definitely a great track and jam! Great job Kris!
Great technical work both on and off the drum set!!!

I asked you to play this song, because i know the quality you’re capable of. You rock Rybalchenko.
I cried when Peart passed..well done young lady..Rush was my first band to see live in the early 80's.
That is awesome persistence Kris. Nice tribute to my favorite drummer of all time. Impressive, especially with a little smaller kit than he used. 🙂
Neil Peart was a beast. But the each member of the band added their own touch to their songs. Thats what made Rush so good.
As an old guy I can appreciate the time you put into this. I have seen John Rutsey play the drums live for Rush and you did an awesome job with this. Now for more live action and heart. Your awesome keep going.
Ok, John Rutsey played for Rush, but only on their 1st album.
