  • Just a quick buzz around the neighborhood during the golden hour. Lot's of colors in the sky so I had to fly. Please enjoy The Animals performing "Boom Boom" and Bad Company performing "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy".
On another note, yesterday my laptop crashed. I mean bad crash. Blue screen of death crash. Couldn't get it to recover using the traditional methods. Had to do a full system reset to even get Windows back up. Lost ALL my programs/apps but fortunately recovered my music, photos, etc. (I'm a religious backer upper). To be fair, this is a TEN YEAR OLD Dell Inspiron that has been a WORKHORSE long after it should have been retired. On the bright side, I ordered an HP Envy from Costco. Got a REALLY good deal because the next bright and shiny iterations have arrived on the scene. Should be here by July 3rd. I'm excited. Here are some of the stats. Should be good for video editing/rendering/exporting: Monitor - 16" touchscreen WQXGA 2560X1600 48-120Hz refresh rate. CPU: 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H, 32 GB RAM, 2TB SSD. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 dedicated. IO: 2 USB-A, 2 Thunderbolt 4, 1 HDMI, BlueTooth 5.3, WiFi 6E. 83wH Li-Ion batt. Windows 11. This thing should help me enjoy this wonderful hobby even more! HAPPY FLYING AMIGOS! CHEERS - Sonic Ox

Getting more confident at the low cruising, nice trench run, thought you were going for that tree gap just before landing, LOL.

😆 Thanks for watching and commenting TS. I appreciate your input. Your analysis is spot on. I thought about that tree gap but got skeered 😮. Also, it often takes me a long time to land, and I was sort of low on battery. I am getting more and more confident with practice. After some white knuckle flying in acro mode, angle feels relaxing 😅. Thanks for visiting. Happy flying amigo. 🫡 🍻

I think that dog is on your side of the fence, which would probably make it yours then lol. If so, then I'm impressed on how he/she didn't chase down and attack your quad, like mine used to always do when given the opportunity lol. That was some smooth flying amigo, getting better every vid I watch. You're looking very confident now compared to just a few months ago. 🔥 always a pleasure to sit back and listen to your music selections, and relax👍👍
Thanks for sharing, and happy flying 👊🤙✌

Thanks for watching and commenting Bartolio. I really value your input. You're one of those pilots I admire and try to emulate. My flying is improving. Going digital and using goggles is a game changer. A lot more fun too. Right now I'm in the middle of a frame change on the OX-7. I'm moving everything over to the AOS 7 frame. I plan to move it from analog to the 03AU too but that won't be until probably September due to hobby budget constraints lol. The new frame necessitates longer wiring harnesses for the fpv camera, the GPS, and the VTX. So rather than splicing 16 different tiny wires, I'm building whole new harnesses from a kit. I should have the kit tomorrow. I'm itching to get the OX-7 up to the performance of the OX-35. Yeah, I'm still having a blast with this hobby lol. That dog is Sage. She's our five year old cattle dog. She's half Queensland Blue Heeler and half Australian Shepherd. We've always had cattle dogs and my dad before me. They're REALLY smart and loyal and driven. She's my constant companion and dearest friend. She's always been afraid of the drones. I don't know why. I've never menaced her with them. She hates the noise. Power tools, motorcycles, shit head tuner cars... She's afraid of loud, shrill noises. Thanks again for watching, and for the feedback. Happy flying amigo. 🫡 cheers.

@@Sonic_Ox I'm honored to hear that Ox, thank you for the encouragement, it's appreciated, friend👍👍
I bet you can't wait! that will be sick flying that big bird around with digital, but never cheap lol.
Sage looks like an excellent companion for sure. My dog Tanner (RIP) got a year or so of being a little too deaf to hear the quad when it wasn't within 20'. It was bliss :) He was my best companion so far in this world, and I miss him dearly. Even the relentless quad chasing, he didn't fear them in the slightest the tough little jack russell he was, he loved to chase them and loved trying to kill them the moment they landed. I developed most of my landing skill trying to put it down in a place he couldn't jump too lol. Ahhhhhhh, memories. Some great ones.
It was nice to meet Sage, I just love dogs and she seems like a great one👍👍

@@Sonic_Ox nope, there really isn't. I had 16 years with him though, hard to expect more than that.
TY bro, I appreciate your condolences. Someday I'll be in a position to get a new best friend, and I'm really looking forward to it.👍👍

We had our last Heeler (Sydney) for almost 16 years (RIP 2006). She developed diabetes in her last three years. I had to give her insulin injections twice daily. Broke my heart when she died. Took me twelve years before I felt like getting another! Sage has been a fantastic friend. I hope you find another. 🙏 🐕.
