Another fun fact about the history of the Philippines is the establishment of the Manila and Acapulco galleon trade. That went on for about 250 years and that’s why we also shared some cultural traditions with Mexico and even acquired some words originally from the Nahuatl language such as “palengke”, “nanay”, “tatay”, “pitaka”, etc. thank you for the video and have fun in the Philippines!
Galleon of Manila; exit Acapulco to Manila per year is the first line trade América Asia of history is equal to Flota de Indias exit América to Spain the conection of parts of Spanish Empire (;except Europeans and African possesiis the trade is most fluently in Europe for distances..

Manila Cathedral is the seat of the OG Diocese of Manila that was erected in 1579 out of the Archdiocese of Mexico. In 1595, the Diocese of Manila was elevated to the now Archdiocese of Manila and 3 dioceses were erected out of it. The Diocese of Nueva Segovia covering Northern Luzon based in Vigan, the Diocese of Nueva Caceres covering the Bicol Region based in Naga and the Diocese of Cebu based in Cebu City covering Visayas and Mindanao. Later on these 3 dioceses were also elevated to Archdioceses and more dioceses were created. Today practically each province has either an archdiocese or diocese or apostolic vicariate or territorial prelature depending on the size of the number catholics. Now there are 16 archdioceses...
Ty for another vlog on the history..a little fact, read this once years ago there used to be 8 churches in Intramuros which got destroyed during the war, fire etccccc. Speaking of another historic place, will you guys go-to Corregidor Island?
Hello LLVT! Actually there are a lot of Filipinos who are like you...MESTIZA.... most of our celebrities have features like yours during the turn of the century..but now there is still mestizos y mestizas but not as abundant as it used to be..😂 the business owners of the big companies in the Philippines were all Spanish migrants like Sorianos of San Miguel,Zobel de Ayala of the Bank of the Philippine Islands and Ayala Malls etc...just to name a few..so i was excited to hear that maybe you might have some lineage with your ancestors in the Philippines...as the Philippines and some South American countries do business during the Spanish Colonization here. Great vlog.😊
World War 2 in history - Visit the Kamikaze air field near Clark where the first kamikaze pilots took off. The Mexican Air Force also participated in the closing days of the war.

Good vlog but correction on history -- That $20M purchase by US from Japan didn't happen; it happened after 1898 Spanish - American War; the US paid that money to Spain to get the Philippines.
1886 the death of National hero Jose Rizal, 4 years later the American intervened and envaded Philippines because of 7 years long Civil war between Spaniards and Filipino/mestizo rebellon. The American proclaimed war to Spanish, and they won the war, the Spanish lost. The American took over Philippines and colonized it for only 50 years.
unless you tied to a US or top local agency. stay away from the financial crimes stuff. you’ll be surprised who you might uncover. im glad brother in law and is wife both former PDEA are out of the country.
