@@BWItoATXF Nice that it still has OEM air suspension. Someone spent a LOT of money on this car, as I am sure the air suspension has been replaced at some point. Most of the time with air suspension this old, owners will do coil overs due to the $5000-7000 it costs to redo the OEM air suspension
@@BWItoATXF Understood. I used to own a Hyundai Equus for about 8 years. Lease return that was still in factory warranty. Yeah the air was one of the reasons I was originally steering away from the UL as it is a liability. OEM air is still very expensive. 3,200 parts on a good day for all 4 corners. Beautiful Car. Congrats! I have a 2003 LS430 Ultra. It's my favorite car to driver. About the sound. The sound system is absolutely impeccable, provided the speakers are all working. The LS430 has better sound than my Tesla Model S and Audi Q7. Here's the deal. One of the few design flaws of the LS430 is the speakers detach from the housing. It sounds like a blown speaker. I'll almost guarantee your subwoofer is also detached. They sell "refoaming" kits for LS430s for like 70 bucks. If you are interested, I can walk you through how to do it. There's plenty of UA-cam videos too. Trust me. You do NOT want to change the speakers. Use the OEM. Oh and the Mark Levinson amplifier is super sensitive to blowing if it sees a speaker with a different impedence out of spec. And that costs a shit ton to replace. One final recc...get a GROM audio. They're expensive but worth every penny.
Hey thanks man. I’ve done some diagnostics and confirmed that each amp channel is fine and the impedance was dead on both the door and sub. I had two drivers with 0 load so they completely failed and are unsalvageable. No clue how not one, but two failed. I’ve since replaced the door speaker. Works fine now. The sub I refoamed a replacement one I bought off of a LS owner and did it wrong. Before I even put load to it, noticed it was foamed off axis. Had to remove fresh glue and cut the cut the dust cover so I could shim. I have yet to reglue the 2nd surround just yet. I will say, that the sound is very decent for the age. But it does show the age a bit. Compared the the RC F ML, there is some room for improvement. But it’s far from the worst out there. The OEM impedances really are a bit annoying as it makes it virtually impossible to do an overhaul where the amp will be comfortable. I MAY eventually overhaul completely with a line driver, completely bypassing the ML amp and going after market. But that will be a long time in the future.
@@BWItoATXF I used a dremel with a brush to clean off the cone. Worked real well. Would love to see an update video on your progress. My mid range and bass are tight.. No complaints about sound quality whatsoever.

Man, I gotta find one of these, but need to make room. Got 2 Town Cars, 79 Mark V and a 98 Mark VIII.
Mannnnn I love the Mark 8. Never got one. Those cars are special.
I've got one of these in black cherry and black leather and 2 Mark VIII's a 97 black on black LSC and 98 Pearlescent white Collector edition (I've owned 4 over the years) they are amazing rides all of the cars have been super reliable and still look and run great .
@@randymcmanus8691 What number is yours? Mine is #118 and same color, but it's on springs now. Can you compare the Lexus to the Mark or a TC? I'm guessing it's not an old school floaty ride like a Town Car, but I love how quiet the Lexus is.
@@BWItoATXF Wanna trade? Lol. Love the Mark, it's funny when people ask what the hell is that, and you say a 30 year old Lincoln. The cockpit type interior is cool.
If you ever want one, the 93-96 are the fastest (especially 93), 97-98 are more luxury.
That final gen LSC, *chef’s kiss*
I need the 4 doors so respectfully decline lol
How much did u get it for?
$8600
@@BWItoATXF out the door (delivered?)
Nope. That’s just the price of the car seller and I agreed upon. Add $200 for escrow, $600 for transport, MD state inspection and registration costs as well.
Nice car. What was your daily driver before
Just seeing this, the RC F was my DD for 5 years.
Good video 😊
Thanks for watching! ✊🏽
21 years
Facts lol
@BWItoATXF did you know that car called in Dubai F16 ! She is a fast and silent fighter.
@mohammadshahin8758 that’s dope, I had no idea.

💯
How the hell that jont have 93.9 already set 😂😂😂😂
I’m saying! 🤣
no sound brother
Huh?
Why Is this car so good? Shoud i buy one?
Reliability, quality, longevity. Binge some of the LS430 content on here. Should give you a good picture of the platform.
@BWItoATXF hey man. I know the car, but im still wondering why everyone say " best car ever made". I owned BMW And mercedes V8 before, fantastic pleasure but both money pits. Need something reliable a keeper for years long
These aren’t money pits. You take care of them, they take care of you. They easily go for hundreds of thousands of miles.
German engineering is great but the cars of that time don’t have the longevity. Check out Car Car Nut’s video. He’s a respected master mechanic that gives very good insight.
@@BWItoATXF thank you 🤝
This is an old man's car!
Not anymore!
I had a 2006 ls430 traded for 2017 ls460. I should have kept the 430 the build quality is better. Very smooth ride didn’t want it sitting outside in the Midwest winters. Definitely regret that 😢
That 2017 is one the best you can get of that gen though! I don’t think it’s a bad buy atp.
Everyone says the 430 is the better build quality and car, which is insane to think about.
