John Boxell what if he was playing in some other state or even continent,and because of bookings which are contractually agreed and probably paid in advance,the only way he was able to appear on the festival was this..... but that's just mine speculation...... yes about his influence on flow of the music with production,gigs and everything which goes in to that package is well known to a major number of the people,lovers of electronic music .....he is playing a major roll in this not right now,but at least 2 -3 years......no hard feelings ,enjoy the fruits of his work and have fun,cheers

Guy J builds a groove in a similar manner to Sasha, Cattaneo, Seaman, Warren, Dubfire etc. He totally understands where to place each track in the mix in order to tease the groove & keep the listener wanting more. Some people may consider this boring but I am guessing they have been weaned on the instant hit junk food that is mainstream EDM. Keep 'em coming Guy J we love you !
Guy J got even better since that time, outplaying Hernan in my opinion. And I am a huge fan of Hernan. Hernan introduced me to this music and I am and will be forever grateful for that. But man, Guy J is the thing. The way he builds up the drops, the tracks he choses... the music touches your soul, goes deep inside of you. Anyway, I was looking for the Tomorrowland set and looks like that was not even recorded... how dare they. this is really sad, like John said. But techno and house are taking over currently. which is nice. amen ;)

The way he combines different tracks creates the ultimate groove. I'm not sure if decks can quite do that. Although he deserves a bigger stage, how awesome would it to have that intimate of a session with one of the top djs of today? Pretty atmospheric!

The best set I heard in a long long while. As soon as it ends, I just press the replay button and go back to work for another hour. Every DJ should just sit down, listen and learn from this guy how to create proper, climatic, flowing mix. Or, should I say, live-act. Amazing job by Guy J, I hope to hear him live very soon!

Today it's exactly 8 years ago that Guy played this set at UMF and i still can't stop hearing it again and again... this set brought me into Guy's world and it is like magic to me... last year i was able to catch him at Extrema in Belgium together with Pappa, cattaneo and sasha & Digger... it was mindblowing...

This may be the greatest piece of music ever recorded. Not since I heard Sasha for the first time (San Fransico GU disc 2) has a set connected so deeply with me. I am Trance guy first but when a prog - trance set comes in this hard it is difficult to not absolutely lose yourself in it. Magic.
atlguy82 Trance will always be my first love .. However the last 5 years im totally into deep melodic techno and progressive music ... You just dont get the trance you used to which is fine with me ... This style is more mature and you can loose yourself so much in the progressive sound ... and when you get remixes of Ambassador - Fade its all good for me ;- )))))) .... For us ;- ))))

+Aahz Mandius It's not uncommon for solid sets to be on the perimeter stages at big festivals. At EDC, Digweed and Sasha both played on the smallest stage.
I was lucky enough to be there dancing to this set. Felt like a private audience. The majority were waving their flags at the main stage being told to f¡@#£ng jump etc. Horrific
why does he need to play the biggest and flashy gigs, GUY J is playing where he needs to play, hes sharing the love and the vibe with who was meant to be there
I remember it was raining so f...n hard, everybody was running for cover, Dash Berlin was playing on Main, this was an incredible set, I kept running back and forth, hate when they put 2 that you want to see at the same time.
