Nice summary, thanks. Now the tasks have reached the "Home" dashboard, Home then might actually do something useful. Odd on your 1% issue, then tags are (according to some guy Ian Small) only used by 2% or fewer users. : ))))) Haven't tried the calendar linkage either, mostly as with GCal I use with 4 calendars with 4 default colours, so might need to shuffle. Maybe, maybe not... looking forward to more detail sometime soon. The task summary, isn't bad, BUT actually needs to be full width, rather the roughly 1/5 'column, one my 15" screen. The scratchpad - crap, as the keyboard shortcut gives me either a new full note - or a quick note as it was in the previous version(s), still seems to work, and the scratchpad was singular and mouse only, etc., but that is changing. And still - "wow" [sarcastic] we can put a 'wallpaper' up - waste time looking for a pic, and then cover 80% of it up with a widget backboard (fixed) and cover that (variable) with resizeable widgets... And one of the justifiable criticisms of Notion is the enticement to "play and customize" yet one of the delights of EN was most customizations available weren't necessary. The only thing that Web clipper allows me to do is 'Log in successfuly'.
Piece of crap.
Respectfully, I think it abysmal what Evernote has done in 2021. V10 was full of bugs, it's slower and not worth the premium price. Now they are disrespecting their customer base even more by dropping them to personal plans and not even offering to upgrade them for 6 months. As a user for nearly 10 years, this is awful. Many, many users like me are moving off. Managed to migrate 22K notes to Nimbus. Sorry, totally disagree with your sentiments. I think you have got this very, very wrong.
Thank you for sharing, Charles. I know a lot of people are not happy.
@@Carl_Pullein I appreciate the acknowledgement. Thanks. As a passionate advocate / ambassador for Soo many years using Evernote for everything it is painful to come to this conclusion and I can't recall every being so badly treated as a customer. Consider this fickle nature of consumers today in a SaaS world the lack of development for so very long, increase in prices and disrespecting you customer base feels like suicide to me. I'm glad to step away.
I feel that Evernote needs a plug.Spending 3-5 minutes telling me what Evernote means to you you lost me. I did not finish the video.
There's a clue in the title LOL
12 minutes in and I still haven't learned anything...
Hi Ashley, there isn’t really anything to learn here. As the title suggests, this video is about what I like about what Evernote is doing.
