I use the ms 20 clone from behringer for this when i play live with a reagge band. There you have a whitenoise with the gritty filter and can patch it like crazy.
i've been using Benidub Filtro for several years now, literally the best standalone LP/HP filter pedal i could find on the market.... There's just so much gear without synthy FX that can benefit from a filter (with multi-wave LFO built in!!), and the Filtro brings the A-game for everything! 😍🤙🤙🌌

Edit: My lack of imagination is the only problem here. I cannot imagine why anyone would get this when there are fully fledged synthesizers at around the same cost. You can easily patch this kind of sound as long as the synth has some decent modulation options. The only reasons I can imagine would be space or a complete disinterest in synthesis outside this one thing.
Eh, i hear where you are coming from. I am also not the target demographic for this, but I could see some dub artists wanting this to save space while performing, and not have to haul a whole extra synth around for the dub sirens. And there is a certain immediacy to the design. Might be nice when you gotta lay down some sirens at a gig and you’re too stoned out your gourd to recall the correct patch, or to figure out how to program that perfect dub siren on your analog synth with no patch memory. Scary, right? Positively mortifying! Well, fear no more. Now you can have a dub siren ready to go in your back pocket!
@@Space_pulse i believe you hit the nail on the head. I guess the entire point of a boutique industry is catering to a small slice of the market. I don't play out, I barely know what a "dub siren" is, but I do know heaps about synthesis, so that slice does not include me :) Therefore, I am mad. Someone made a product aimed at people who aren't me!?!?! How DARE THEY!?!
I get your point but it's a very specific thing and can serve that purpose in a compact space within a set up. Just the way it responds is also so immediate.
It’s all in the name of the pedal and the company itself. Dub reggae is filled with sounds like this so producers and DJs of that would be its target audience, although obviously it can be used creatively elsewhere as indicated in the video. Definitely very niche though, would be cool if it could be tempo synced.
This is the jam box I've always wanted! Sounds great!
right!?

Aha! Another option- thanks for this! :-)
@@LiamKillen i use my syntakt, but have been eyeing the benidub since it came out.
Back on the saddle .. cheers to all the sights ... sounds ... you consistently bring to the spotlight ...
Cheers to you!

OH YEAH 🤘
😏
So… I … must buy everything this company makes.
Their desktop spring reverb is sick.
The quality is so high.
LFO into Oscillator with envelope? Sign me up! This is 99% of what I do with modular anyways.
It's a win win !
Gotdamn! Fucking so sick!
Thx for watching ! :-)
I need eight of these so I can build an improved DFAM that specifically pisses off the neighbors.
fkn lol

I'm not sure what this device is used for. No input, doesn't necessarily sound musical to my ears - maybe it's just not for me.
It has a very specific use of being a very (high quality) siren- that's about it!

1:38 minutes in, and I need to get away from this person.
U hurt me 😢
Too much advertising and sponsor talky talky crap, it stinks.
One word into your comment and I need to get away from you
Talky comment crap, it stinks
people gotta make money somehow
This thing is so overpriced it is nutty.
I dunno man...I think it's cool as shit.
Basically a stripped down RMX1k for DnB, Jungle or Dub.
