This episode answers the question most stories involving a villain with mind control don't: What if they used it on the main character too? He didn't hesitate at all. It's a disturbing episode but that moment's hilarious to me.
because in most other stories its a plot hole or they dont bother explaining why the antagonist can't just instantly win with it.
blame the plot
@@redshepherd32Exactly why I hate the mind controlling villain in RWBY.
Her origin is that she was a thief due to being poor but her power should've made her rich in under a day. She follows Cinder because she saved her when she was caught stealing but her power should've stopped her from being caught at all.
Why did she fight a room full of people instead of just making them hallucinate an enemy & then blowing up the building?
When she finally did make them hallucinate an enemy & they were petrified by fear, why didn't she kill them instead of running away? She was homicidally angry at them & yet she did the least homicidal thing possible.
If she ever actually tried to do her job, none of her enemies would know she exists.
@@D_YellowMadness her illusions only work on one person, we don't know when she got her powers, if it was when she was a thief or after joining Cinder... about the last part I have no idea
@@D_YellowMadnessI'm late, but you're talking about Emerald right? She just makes people see illusions. That's not mind control
Taka is just upset because he knows he'll get blue balled on the interspecies three-way.
1:01 Print that frame out and tape it to your bathroom mirror for your morning confidence boost.
Holy shit that quick draw on K. Ruul took me out!!
No preamble, no exchange of words, just immediately maces him with roofie-juice; smartest move from a villain I've ever seen
Even the camera doesn't treat the protagonist getting roofied by the villain as a big deal. The lack of drama is just incredible.
Yeah there's a shocking amount of hentai plots about stealing The Crystal Coconut. Like one or two, okay sure. But like why are there SO many?
1:11 Donkey Kong was a trailblazer far ahead of his time.
Man, K. Rool was quick to spray DK with his love serum...alright, now I *know* this episode's script started in someone's private room
oh god this show.

DK: BANANA SLAMMA!!
K. Rule: Nope. >spritz
Question: K. Rool wants the Crystal Coconut so he can take over the island, right? But if he has the magic -roofie- love potion that makes everyone on the island fall in love with him, wouldn’t that make the Crystal Coconut moot because everyone on the island who’s in love with him will do anything he says anyway? M’thinks K. Rool might’ve put the cart before the horse. 🤔
Aside from not have enough potion for the whole island, there is a major side-effect to it.
Spoilers
If you use the spray in someone a second time, they go into a blood-thirsty rage.
@@ligtningdog6399 I mean, just enrapture the one who made the love potion in the first place and have them make more. Easy fix.
Fair point on the second use inverse rage though. That alone would warrant getting the crystal coconut even if you had enraptured everyone just so you don't have to risk someone flying off the cuff.
Bluster getting what he deserves
the hell happened why has this been going on for 4 months
Bisexual king K Rool? You love to see it.
I think I've seen a Yuri start out this way
