How to Communicate Correctly

How do you ensure someone actually listens to you and takes your advice? The effect your words will have on people is dictated by the power of your words and this power resides in the amount of internal work you have put in before the communication. It is not just about the words you use or the way you say it. These things are important. But what we are not aware of or what we forget is what comes before the actual communication. So next time you feel like your words are not being taken seriously or someone is not listening to you, reverse engineer the situation and put in that internal effort before you try to communicate again.
