Go to multiverse, then click on the small world on the far right. There should be an infinite mode on that one. Playing that will increase your characters level a LOT. Or you could set up your A.I to do all the fighting

I legit just got injustice 2 two days ago and the third pull from a silver mother box was the Staff of Grayson
all i have to say is that getting epic gears and shaders is extremely difficult right now for red hood... they really want us to pay to unlock more shaders :(

When i get new gear and don't just see how the gear look, I look if the gear will benefit my character stats. If I get a complete set of gear then I would put it in a different loadout section and equip it

If u do the multiverse that u get epic gear for the character u play on, the battle were u do the 12 battles u always get a plat and ones I got if u completed it u get 2 plats and a dim mover box for the reward
Punch Down King He said, that there are Multiverse Events for specific characters. On the 12-opponent battles of these events, you will get a platinum mother box and the score Mother Boxes(bronze, silver and gold). If you complete all Objectives of that Event, you will get a Diamond and 2 Platinum Mother Boxes as reward.

Take not on both Supergirl and Superman (tested on Supergirl, must be the same for Superman), the cape has different patterns with the headpiece. If you check the name, a lot of the time it'll mention "cloak" or something like that. It's not as obvious as a head piece, but in action it does look very different depending on the piece.

I thing the best way to get good gear and level up fast is the multiverse, for example I got sub zero today and got him to level 10 with epic gear in 20 mins

You basically needs have red hood at level 20 to get epic n rare gears because anything lower than 20 you won't get much at all

THEKIDBULL / PIKUSERU His gear just doesn't look very different at all. Most of his tops are the exact same with the addition of the jacket or some shoulder pads. The jeans never change but you might get some kneepads or a different belt. The guns will have a somewhat different design with a scope or not.
RiseUpGaming his mask I feel is the only thing you can differ the base character from because it's the only noticeable thing every thing is just slightly shorter oh the symbol is there but his mask has very different details for each one
